Location is great. Ambiance is great. Live music. Service is great. I had an octopus and it was perfect. Meat dish mixed meat was very good. But both fish and beef soups had a strong taste of Vegeta(?) seasoning, even had an impression that the Bouillon was the same in two soups. They specialise on fish, so go for it.

Arrived central very late and decide having dinner at konoba bracera because recommend by many people , first of all make me annoying need long queue around 20min to get one table in share . Ambient are great for the food are fresh and good just the price point not for budget person . This restaurant is full of tourist , not really recommend ...

We visited this restaurant with our 3 teenager kids. We had to wait a little while but got a nice big table. We started with some ham, olives and cheese for all and the mussels and soup for us. The mussels were very good, the fishsoup was rather flavourless. After that we had pizza for the youngest (definitely not the best pizza in town) and meat from the grill for us. We asked very rare, it was kind a rare, and the taste was good. The meat was tender and had flavour. French fries, and mixed salat were ok. Service is quite chaotic and not very fast, but it didn't bothered us. For all this it was a 1000 kuna. That's ok with 5 people. We will come back.

We got the recommendation to go for Galija for some truffle noodles and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is at the upper end of the old city so it's not the first restaurant you might spot and it lacks the view on the habour.
But it provided some nice food in a rustic interior. The noodles were great, the home made bread was delicious.
Highly recommended

The restaurant recently moved from a much more attractive location, but it doesn't seem to have affected its business. We visited out of season, but the Terrace was quite full. Two pluses: it is open when most other restaurants are closed after a busy summer and there is ample parking. The rest is just o.k. It takes quite some time to get your food, but supposedly patrons are on vacation and that shouldn't be such a problem. Something to nibble on (apart from plain bread) might take care of that. Food selection is satisfactory for tavern type restaurant - a little bit of everything (pasta, seafood, meat). Steak was o.k. - steak knives would be a nice touch and make it easier to cut parts that should have been taken care of before cooking. Very limited wine and beer list, but acceptable for the type of establishment (good white house wine). Interesting local dessert. Good coffee (nice touch: it was on the house). Reasonable prices. No view. Not very enthusiastic service.

Had a great fish lunch. Location is great, next to the sea. We were there preseason so it wasn't crowded, and had a really good local atmosphere. Tuna stakes were good, but scallops were really excellent.
The waiter was really friendly and helpful.
Prices are reasonable.

Welcome to Restaurant Vila Rova! Enjoy local and international dishes on our Terrace and immerse yourself in the flavours of Mediterranean cuisine that will leave you breathless.
We had a great meal. The wine suggestion of the waiter was excellent !
Good service with a lot of product knowledge for a good price.
The only downside was that there was no real Terrace, it's a big nicely decorated square of wich all windows can open, but the roof is not mobile.

My boyfriend and I were here for dinner. He ordered squid with mangel and I ordered pasta with shrimps (I'm a big lover of pasta with anything). And a mix of season salad. The food was very good and really tasty. The waiters were polite. The cost was a bit pricey but hey- it's summer so there's no surprise there! But a really good restaurant. The ambient is wonderful and you have a lovely view of the sea while you eat. :)

First good thing is position near the Cathedral. Restaurant has average, small interior and better open garden. It is in the shadow and large enough. Name is connected with famous noblemen from Krk, family Frankopan. Service is very good when you smartly choose time before the evening crowd. Offer is fish menu and some other, continental food. We started with tomato soup. Good taste but not hot enough. Second part of the meal vas good. Price was somewhere in the middle for Krk.
