For a restaurant that is sometimes touted as one of the best in Larnaka, we were surprised to be so underwhelmed.
Certainly, the ambience was cosy and characterful but though the restaurant was not particularly busy when we visited, service was erratic although supervised by the owner. I found the menu uninspiring, so I chose the starter and main from the limited offering of specials but they transpired to be no more than acceptable home cooking.
As this was our first restaurant stop on our first day in Cyprus, there was always a chance that Art Cafe 1900 represented the high-end of a very mediocre restaurant scene on the island but after 7 days of frequently eating well and often outstandingly well, it became clear that this establishment is simply highly overrated.
That said, the wine was good.

This is a tavern one of many in this town just outside Kite and near Lanarca. It is typical of taverns and street names are difficult to find even if they exist
eat there but be prepared for doggy bag if not eating in a group or a least 2 of you. The food is so good and they give you so much at a very reasonable price. I ate alone and never managed to finish, nearly did once, its a must to go and owners and staff are so friendly

We discovered this place in our small but nice trip around Cyprus. After being in an other 2 italian restaurants in Larnaka (which we didn't like at all), we decided to give the last chance to try some decent italian food in town...we ended up in this place and from the first moment it was like being in our country! I couldn't believe they have fresh pasta!!! The food we had was simply amazing and soo rich of flavours! The family that owns the place and the all staff are very friendly...such of nice people. Ah, the chefs are even all italian. Thank u so much for the nice experience guys we'll come back next year to see u again!!

The Aquarium Bar is a Boat Bar-Cafe and Restaurant, permanently moored in the Marina in Larnaca. We serve fresh Local Cuisine, Quality Beverages and a beautiful view. We are open for walk in guests or by arrangements for Private Parties to celebrate any special occasion, for groups of any size. You can find us on the opposite the Sun Hall Hotel on the OLD COLONIAL PIER, Last boat on the right. Thank you -Aquarium Crew
This restaurant / bar is on a boat in the marina and is a great setting for an evening meal as the sun goes down and all the twinkly lights appear around the town. The food is limited in choice but well prepared. Service is slow but the food is cooked fresh in the small galley on board and who wants to rush a fine experience.

It is a very relaxing space to meet friends and a enjoy a good meal.. The food variety is great but salads and wraps are the most favourable..It's also good during summer season because of it's location but also for breakfast and lunch in winter season when is not to cold to sit at the outdoor lane..Very polite young people work there and the service is one of the best I had in Larnaca.

Visited to see the sunset and were not disappointed with the setting. However, the service was abysmal. We had one drink and were never offered another. The food came and we were told we had eaten very quickly when the server removed the plates. We were not offered a dessert menu and had to ask 3 times for the bill, waiting over 30minutes until it arrived. Very disappointing as the food was ok.

Terrible food. We have ordered take away last weekend. Great disappointment. Lemon chicken was simply warmed up from freezer, as it was cold inside, crispy seaweed is not a seaweed at all, but crispy lettuce, noodles had a taste of cheapest noodles they could find, duck... kind of smocked with strange taste. Every thing in the end was shared between the dog and dustbin

Maqam Al-Sultan represents a culture. Lebanese cuisine epitomizes the best of the Mediterranean diet. The heart-healthy ingredients such as fresh vegetables, grains, herbs and spices, lamb, beef, fish, poultry, yogurt and olive oil make a meal replete with robust earthy flavors. At Maqam Al-Sultan we immensely love, enjoy, respect and appreciate our food. Our Lebanese chefs cook the way mama cooks at home. When you fancy a real meal, fine wine, a cup of coffee or tea, to smoke a nargileh or when you're in the mood to entertain yourself, your friends and loved ones, welcome to Maqam Al-Sultan!
Went for lunch and split a baba ganoush and hummus among 2. Best hummus I've ever had served in very big portion. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very customer oriented.

Brilliant taverna/restaurant. So good, our group eat there twice during a short stay in the village. Very attractive interior, very friendly and efficient staff, and really lovely food, all representing very good value. A very varied menu is on offer. Strongly recommended.

I came here on the recommendation of my hotel owner's son. He told me that he, and everyone who goes there, love it. I didn't have time to sit for a meal but most tables were occupied by people who seemed to be enjoying their meals.
I approached the take-out window and was helped by one of the waiters. He was kind and he was patient with me as I tried to figure out the best thing to get as my meal during my flight. I selected some kebabs on a stick. He had them wrapped in foil for me so they'd travel well (and they did).
I also bought their Gyro (in Greek pita as I recall) which includes tomatoes, onion, chips, and Tzatziki sauce all wrapped inside. In my experience, chips in gyros (or in falafel in pita in Israel) are typically not at all crispy and I don't enjoy them. These were a crispy great surprise!
Walking back to my hotel I fully enjoyed the chips. At my hotel, I loved the meat when I tasted it. Then, I rewrapped it for later and it was still really good hours later and the airport, and even still really nice when I polished it off later.
The wrapped meat was also quite good but looking back at my purchase, the Gyro in pita was indeed the best value -- as the waiter had originally stated.
I think it was 3.50 euros for the Gyro pita. Each stick alone was 1 euro.
If you sit outside you also enjoy a nice street view.
