Comparing it to the rest of the restaurants (and there are many in Kavala's centre) it has the best quality/service/price ratio. More than reasonably priced, fast Delivery, the friendliest staff ever - I've been eating more than 10 times there and I love it!!!

Delikaris is a traditional souvlaki shop in Kavala. Cheap and high quality food is served there from an old established business. Worth a try if you are fun of the souvlaki pita sport, you wont get disappointed. Just not expect "restaurant" service and quality.

The best restaurant in Kavala by far . Gourmet food , excellent service , elegant atmosphere and decoration . Prices are low compared to the quality . In a building that has its own history eventhough you cannot tell from the outside . Food is light because the shef cares about avoiding fatening recipes . I've been living in Kavala for all my life and this is the best the town ever had and according to my opinion the best of the territory east of Thessaloniki and up to the turkish border. It's a pitty it is closed for all the summer period , from May till September. It is better to have a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights only .

Family tavern-tavern with homemade forgotten flavors from pure traditional ingredients, cooked with care by the owners, but for God's sake not want rushes.
My son and I stopped in for lunch after a long day of riding enduro at the suggestion of our guide. The owner greeted us, we discussed motorcycles and he brought us a wonderful complementary green tomato/pepper/olive oil dish, bread and water. Our ordered meal was excellent and the prices were extremely low - very “non-touristy”. He even refused a tip that I offered, and simply thanked us for coming in. I highly recommend you give this gem a try.

One of the oldest taverns in the area Sfagia (which translates to meatpacking district), it is an all times classic among locals.
The outside tables on the seafront, are protected within transparent plastic tents, allowing the guest to enjoy the view of the picturesque little port and the fishing boats. At the same time, a number of heaters keeps this area as warm as interior areas. The pleasant atmosphere is complete with folk Greek music, creating an absolutely relaxing environment.
This is excellent restaurant for both fish and/or meat eaters. The food is well cooked and the portions are very satisfying. A complimentary variety of small desserts is served after dinner. Price range is very reasonable.
The staff and the owner himself are very friendly, always welcoming you with a smile and making sure you stay satisfied.
Make sure to try the "Savvas" salad, it is served in a grilled cheese bowl.

Tastes perfect!! Definitely a "must go place in Kavala" Portions are quite large though, I recommend taking caution when ordering. Pricing is normal. They serve complimentary ice cream cones at the end of the meal. :)

Good and remarkable Chop House, has kept his quality as long as I eat from there (a little less for some slight variety), but this does not mean that it does not cover the desire of everyone to eat something good and economical.

Very nice place in the center of the city to take a meze with a beer or tsipouro, but also to eat. Nice fresh made food, some small fishes and friendly staff. Nice suprise just before taking the boat to limnos

Undoubtedly this is the hot spot in Kavala. Either for coffee or drink, for breakfast, blunch, lunch or dinner. I especially love the brunch hour. Karaoli Dimitriou square is the hot spot in the city and Tsalapeteinos is the place to be, eat and drink with small children or for a romantic dinner. I love it. The make my favourite cappuccino. I always order a double one! The staff is friendly and always willing to serve. Only pros and no cons for me!!!
