This is a small restaurant, with a limited menu - every item excellent! We enjoyed a light dinner of tapas, followed by the absolutely amazing pineapple ravioli with strawberry and mascarpone. Our server was knowledgeable, multilingual, and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and modern in design, yet warm and cozy on a cold night.

The title speaks for itself, the soup is super delicious! Excellent service, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and good food. It's around the corner from main bus station so convenient to eat dinner and chillax if your on a late bus back to Prague.
It's a winner !

We enjoyed our pork medallions in mushroom sauce and chicken skew stuffed with prosciuto. Try dumplings as a side dish, very good. The traditional soup with cream, mushroom and eggs was interesting to try :)
Good service, not so great with english but that did not bothered us. It is a plain local restaurant but with warm atmosphere.

Old venerable Carlsbad is very well kept and still looks beautiful. And buildings like the theatre and the Hotel Pupp (albeit sadly sold down to package holidaymakers these days) are real gems.
Yet there is a certain lack of atmosphere in this town that forces you think that this place has seen better times.
But a dinner at the Promenada dispels all such Reservations. The owners of this place are the best testimonials of the well-deserved reputation of Karlovy Vary as a prime destination for the discerned traveller.
I was there at dinner with my family and the meal was a feast, from the appetisers to the skilfully prepared Crêpes Suzette. As main course,I had excellent venison, whereas my wife and my daughter went for fish.
Service was efficient and warm. And I should give a special mention to the cellar. I tasted an excellent Sauvignon and a very intriguing Zweigeltrebe, which I understand come both from the owners' own winery in Moravia.
Full marks to this restaurant! Highly recommended.

I ate at the Embassy Restaurant In Karlovy Vary in September. Would I eat here again?Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes.
The restaurant was very nice, the service was fantastic, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. We ate out on the bridge that crossed the river - a very nice experience.

New restaurant "DOMA" focused on the Czech contemporary cuisine is now open! Menu based on local ingredients and traditional recipes, adapted to light and pleasing appearance. The offer includes a tasting menu, Czech specials, light salads and homemade desserts.
This is a nicely situated restaurant with a modern atmosphere. The service is friendly. Unfortunately the chef has little taste: everything is under-spiced. There is also no feeling for the correct temperature: cheese and goose liver parfait were ice cold, reducing the taste. The fish and goose leg needed salt, but there was none on the table. No spices to detect.
Its not bad! It's just too blunt for our taste and with too little knowledge on the products that are offered.

Dinner for 16 senior golfers from France playing in an international golf tournament in KV. Service and food excellent. Good selection of locals wines at reasonable prices. The chef owner has trained in well known restaurants in France. Full of locals all having a good evening.
The super critical French very positively surprised to find such a good restaurant in KV.
Highly recommended.

The staff is is very pleasant but that's everything which is positive at this restaurant. They want to save money wherever they can.. The equipment is procurer, toilets are clean but their technical condition is unsuitable.. You cannot pay by card and the nearest cash machine is down the steep hill about 700 metres and then you have to climb the hill back.. Terrible!! And the food? Unnecessarily large portions of meals, especially a goulash, which is full of mushrooms and other vegetables. The only plus is tasty beer but for a price like in the center of Prague (capital city of Czechia).. I think there are many better restaurants in Carlsbad, don't hesitate to try another one ;)

Lovely place with traditional Czech food. We had fresh trout and a trio of steaks with mushroom ragout. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted really delicious. The person in charge was a very friendly man. I would love to go back and try more! Also, reasonable prices.

The Diana Historical Restaurant (built in 1914) is situated at the top of Výšina přátelství (Friendship Height) right next to the observation tower, which offers a remarkable view of Karlovy Vary and its wider surroundings. In our stylish restaurant, you may enjoy specialities of both Czech and international cuisine either on the Terrace surrounded by woods, in the main dining hall with a fireplace, or in the non-smoking winter garden. Grilled delicacies, game feasts, or gourmet specialities – you may relish all that in the beautiful ambience situated amidst tranquil woods. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available to all the guests. The interior premises offer only areas for non-smoker.
Hiking up to the Diana watch tower is a must when visiting Karlovy Vary. And why not enjoy a little refreshment or a whole meal in this old place after climbing the 150 stairs in the tower? Princes are reasonable and the dishes we tried were tasty. Good service. For younger kids the nearby mini zoo and butterfly garden is an extra bonus.
