I have eaten here many times, however on Saturday night I took a friend to the restaurant who had never eaten here before. It was delightful to see how amazed my friend was - by the food and service. If you spend only one night...MoreThanks so much for taking the time to write another brilliant review. It is fabulous having you dine at Cafe Darya - you always have such positive and great things to say about us. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The wine selected was nice especially for the money paid.
Entrees of salt & pepper squid & scallops were tasty, the squid tender but really too big for an entree.
Mains of chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto & tagliatelle with duck/mushroom ragout (entree size) were ok but too large. The tagliatelle was lacking duck or it was smothered in the rich tomato sauce.
The pannacotta was a standout dessert.
The service was lacking when it came to getting first drinks & a detailed docket on paying to check all was ok was missed.
The food was more 'club food' than great Italian Restaurant.

We ordered 2 takeaway pizzas and the cost was $50! They were very edible because we were hungry, but I can't say they were anything special. Go or order take-away if you're desperate. We were staying at the resort and didn't feel like driving to Jindabyne.

Really popular little restaurant. Excellent service and food was fantastic, really tasty and just what we needed after eating nothing but sausages and burgers the last couple of days (camping!). Highly recommend the beef salad. I had the chicken burrito and would have loved a dollop of sour cream and salsa on the side but it was very, very good.

Service here seemed really sub par. Maybe i came after a busy lunch period, but service was pretty ordinary and slow and not professional. No credit card accepted and the person serving me gave me too much change.
Pie was very low salt. Quice amd iced coffee was quite nice.

Casual fun dining
This coffee bar is a must with its chalkboard walls to keep the kids entertained whilst you enjoy the best coffee you've ever tasted followed by a breakfast bagel. The staff are the most lovely and welcoming people I've ever met which is why I will continue to give them my business. The muffins are made fresh daily by Dee Cups in town and are amazing! And at night on selected days it turns into a hip trendy bar scene where you can enjoy a classy gin and tonic or negroni plus heaps more. A must visit for when you visit the lovely town of Jindabyne.

Great little spot for cake and coffee. Tracie always has fresh cakes and great range on offer. Good coffee too. There's also pies and wraps and rolls but I never get past one of the yummy sweet treats. Only a small space so sometimes can be full in busy times. Always friendly though. Great spot for a stop

My family went to the movies and I walked around the shops to find a location for a late lunch. We try to eat healthy and have minimal wheat. This was our only real option. However it proved t be a great choice. We all loved the fresh food. Quality and quantity was fine. We ended up attending more times over the week of being in the snowy Mountains.
