Great little restaurant in Orchha . Right on the high street ...with a roof top area and a lovely open balcony area where you can sit and watch the world go by .Food was lovely and service was great too.. probably one of the best places to eat in Orchha

I must admit that I did not consume anything here.
I simply wanted to enjoy a late afternoon beer and had the foresight to ask the price before the bottle was opened. When I showed surprise at the high price the waiter responded with the type of comment that should be confined to the market."How much would you like to pay?" etc.
This cannot happen in a restuarant. It scares customers away.

The hotel is itself in the fort (Jahangir Mahal). As per history ( as told by guide) seesh mahal was guest house. Location is best for see the Orchha surroundings. Food is good.Service is also good.

"Extremely friendly and helpful owner" 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2015 via mobile Had a wonderful time eating breakfast at this restaurant, one of the best aloo paranthas I had in India until now. Came several times as the owner became a friend to me and my friend. He was extremely helpful with information about Orchha and showed us around a little after closing. Highly recommended.
The restaurant was recommended by a friend who passed through Orchha a few days before.
It is located behind the temple away from the main hub-bub and is on the first floor, so a great location for people watching down below.
The restaurant has super fast, free wifi (which the owner will switch on, if it isn't already) and the food was cooked to order in a small kitchen right next to the tables.
We had an enjoyable lunch. The service was prompt and staff very friendly.
Would certainly eat there again.
TIP:
Beer is available but they are not permitted to include it on the menu. You have to ask for it!

Foot Loose Coffee Lounge, Dilli-6 Vegetarian (Street Food) Restaurant, Club 36 Fine Dining Restaurant( Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian) Conclave Banquet and Events Hall... At Opium there is something for everyone and beware it can be addictive.
Opium is a tastefully made restaurant in a place like Jhansi...
Ambience and food is NYC... Caters for all types of cuisine..
The only thing they need to work on is the quick service... They r a. slow... But alas there r very few options in Jhansi as it is...

Had breakfast in the restaurant and opted for Paranthas and Sandwich. Non-veg eaters please note that this restaurant had only veg options. Wanted to have Dosa but was informed that South Indian Menu is served from around noon time only. Lot of options in the menu including numerous fast food items.
Taste of the food items were good and specially liked the Sandwich. Definitely worth trying.

What started as an upbeat n upcoming restaurant cum bakery in Jhansi, crafted with passion, has now lost its standards. Though much better than most options available here in the city, it's not what it used to be. Menu card has things they don't cater for. Food is too spicy despite being told to keep zero spices. At n number of times they ve reused vegetables smell stale like potato n onion. Wraps are way too oily n spicy. Bakery stuff is good. Shakes n mocktails r Gud too. Pizza vegetables have reduced as topping. But there's not much option here so still go to this place. Can have ur food packed

This restaurant is located on the Elite square of Jhansi. The food is just average but the service was really bad.
