Was looking forward to our meal but ultimately we were all a bit disappointed. Starters were not fantastic (Brie parcels) and our mains were tasty enough but underwhelming. My venison was fine, I’ve had worse but many better. Same was true of my friends main courses. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly or welcoming despite the place being very quiet.

Either for apres ski or a lunch break ( or dinner....) this is a very good place to go to get food and drink. It is just a few steps below the Soll gondola station and right on the skibus route. Even from the village it is only a 7-10 min walk.
Good service, language no problem. Pizzas from a wood burning oven, steaks are tasty and the salads (with steak or chicken) are a welcome change from the sauce soaked mountain restaurant salads.
Good and busy in the evenings with lots of music. For lunch or apres ski it is our favorite in Soll. I am just one of many fans it seems here on TA! If you are in Soll, you should really visit.

New, stunning modern restaurant in beautiful village
Adored everything about Alf da Mille. Great room, packed with happy diners, real buzz and atmosphere. Loved the menu both comprehensive well priced beverage and food options. Verconica was great hostess and attentive staff and service throughout. Really enjoyed our dinner of salad, steaks and dessert plus wines. When next in Soll, looking forward to returning.
Note : This is a busy popular restaurant, avoid disappointment and make a reservation.

Friendly, modern, high quality
The food was great, and that's all the positive things I have to say about the restaurant.
When we sat down everything was fine, but as the place filled up with customers it was obvious that the 2 waiters were unable handle the entire place.
After finishing the main course we waited about 10 minutes until the waiter came to clear our plates and we than asked for the desert manu, that took another 15 minutes or so cause she "forgot" about us (she came because I signaled her the bill sign), after looking at the Deserts and deciding it took us another 15 minutes to realize enough was enough and asked for the bill, getting the bill to another 5 minutes, and there was also a mistake in it.
To sum things up, about 30 minutes of wasted time just waiting for nothing!
This was one of the really rare occasions that me and my wife didn't leave any tip!

Our restaurant is located directly at the middlestation of the gondola at 1165 m above sea level. From our sun Terrace you can catch a breathtaking view from the tyrolean alps. And in the winterseason you can put on your skis and start directly in front of our appartement. We are offering you for breakfast fresh bread service or you can come and breakfast in our restaurant.
We have been visiting Hopfgarten for 3 years for skiing, and after trying the majority of ski restaurants, Tenn is by far the best. They are friendly, well priced and they make the most amazing goulash soup on earth. Every other restaurant offering goulash soup is a disappointment.

Had a wonderful evening here on the night of the Hopfgarten Festival. There was a limited menu for the festival but the chef accommodated the two vegetarians in our group with off-menu meals. Friendly waitress with whom we communicated with a combination of broken German and broken English. Fab night, lovely atmosphere, good food and wonderful service.

I have been wanting to write a review for this lovely Italian restaurant but for some strange reasons I couldn't keep up with my plan. So here I am finally posting my review of Antonio.
I was first introduced to this restaurant last winter by my colleague. It was however very unfortunate that we couldn't find a table for ourselves and later we found out that it is extremely essential to reserve a table and only the lucky one's would be able to walk in and find a table for themselves. So we left disappointed but I owed to return soon.
Cut to March 2016. My wife and I decided to have something different for lunch and we decided to drop in at Antonio's. And again it was the repeat of the evening from the winter of 2015. We were disappointed. A friend of ours told us the same thing "Make sure you have a reservation".
Finally in Aug 2016, it was my birthday and on a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon we decided to lunch outside and promptly decided to grab a bite at Antonio's. We didn't have a reservation but being a little superstitious, I believed that being my birthday I wouldn't be disappointed. We headed out with this belief and to our luck, I was third time lucky and we were the first patrons at the restaurant that afternoon. It was our Eureka moment. Finally we made it without a reservation at the much sought after Antonio's.
One might wonder, why I dug in so deep in my review. Well, as an avid traveller and a foodie, I just want to highlight one point to all fellow travelers - When a restaurant is always full and requires reservation, one must immediately conclude that the quality of food and service is top class.
Now to the real review of the restaurant and the food served there.
As the name suggests, it is an Italian restaurant. From what I have seen and been told is that the place is owned by an Italian gentlemen and hence the food served feels just like Italy.
The restaurant has tables both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor Seating is quite unique. The tables are neatly laid out under a nice grape garden. You could see bunches of grapes hanging over your head. It also provides some good shade during an extremely hot day and hence sitting outside can be a good choice on such days. Otherwise one can also opt to sit indoors too. The decor is done quite neatly.
The menu offers some good choices of Italian cuisine starting from salad's to pasta's to pizzas to some lovely desserts along with other offerings. I do not want to comment on the price as something average for me can be reasonable cheap for some or expensive to others but a meal for 2 with a little dessert and drink cost be around €50.
We ordered two different types of pizzas. It was served hot and in petty good time. The crust of the pizza was soft in the middle and crunchy at the edges. The tomato sauce had a nice flavour and the salamis were truly unique. It had a lovely taste and it seemed to me that these were from a farm and not from a processed meat factory. It reminded me of a pizza that I had eaten in a small village restaurant just outside Verona. My wife too enjoyed the unique flavour of the pizza she had ordered. We finally ordered a dessert which too was very delicious and loved every bite of it.
The service and the courtesy of the staff were truly commendable. For once we were not kept waiting for any of our orders and requests. They were constantly ensuring that all their guests and patrons were attended to promptly.
Lastly it was a great experience and I am sure to go back again - With or without reservation.
