We enjoyed the food here but it wasn't insane delicious, I would say average maybe. The price for free buffet wasn't bad but they made it back on the price of the drinks!

Just a quick stop on our way from Buzios and Rio.Vacaria stands out as an upscale eatery in a not-so-impressive provincial town. Bingo! It is located on the main highway and offers private parking. The buiding is new and pleasantly decorated. Food is top knotch with a very juicy rodizio choice. Prices reasonable, even by Brazilian standards.

Alem de ter o chocolate mais gostoso, nesta epoca do ano, a Cacu Show oferece o mais delicioso Panettone do mundo com gotas de chocolate. Eu recomendo.

While driving back from Macae to Rio we decided to stop for lunch along the highway. We selected Kiosque do Alemoa since there were so many cars out front.
We ordered Nurenberger Sausage on a bun.
What a disappointment.
They were the shortest, skinniest and driest sausages I ever ate.
I think it was a bad choice as I saw other dishes that came out of the kitchen and they looked okay. Remember this is a fast food restaurant off the highway in Brazil.

We ended up in Itaborai during the World Cup finals and found this restaurant while discovering the town. It stands out with excellent decor, a small but tasty salad bar and excellent meats served right off the grill.
They will weigh your plate and charge you based on how much you put in it. Average ticket for two of us was about R$70 with two juices. Not cheap for Brazil but we felt it was a fair price for everything you get here.
The AC is nice and cold and everything is very clean and of good quality.
Make sure and try the coco balls which the sell by the cash register!

This restaurant is wonderful. Germany food... Very good! And have easy localization because is closed the road. The prices is low cost.

We went for lunch but the wood oven was not open. No pizza for lunch but good seafood risotto. The next evening we decided to go back for pizza. It was worth it.

So because it is hidden, we wanted to start a review page for it and tell people about it. This restaurant is part of a big complex that encompasses soccer feilds, tennis courts, beautifully landscaped grounds, a gym, party hall and what looks like a country club. The name of the complex is Vera Gol.
GREAT staff and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor Seating. Excellent prices. Lunch buffet. Full bar.
We went to watch a world cup match in the outdoor Seating area….and although we only had beer And fries (excellent!) they treated us like kings!
We stayed at the Ibis next door and actually walked to it from our hotel.
