The largest and many say most beautiful island in the Bay of Naples, Ischia is renowned for its curative spas. Ferries and hydrofoils connect Naples to Ischia Porto, the main town. Nearby at Ischia Ponte (connected to the main island by a foot bridge) are the magnificent Castello Aragonese and Guevara Tower. Forio on the island’s west coast, Lacco Ameno in the northwest and Sant’Angelo in the south are the liveliest resort towns. Casamicciola Terme in the north is one of Europe’s oldest spas.

We felt as if we had attended a "Culinary Theatre"- entertained by a masterpiece production. During our dining experience, we were captivated by the skillful preparation /presentation of the plates combined with amazing imagination, the thrill of the ongoing anticipation of "what's next" and the accompanying array of positive emotion.
A Food Lover's opportunity to savour what food can be, at it's finest.

What a delightful treasure we happened to stumble upon at the summit of Epomeo!! The handsome Antonio (even hubby agrees) made us feel welcome and we had the most delicious paninis. Sharing a bottle of wine, enjoying the view was a highlight of our trip!

In August 2012, during our short stay at the Maronti Beach, we had the pleasure of eating 3 times in this restaurant - despite the fine alternative of other beach restaurants. The "Il Faro" offers a wide selection of typical dishes - and the portions are incredible ! Each dish we chose, even the salads, could have served two persons... The quality is impeccable and delicious. Service and friendliness are superb; everything made a very clean and extremely well-kept impression.
Can only be recommended, both for lunches and dinners in the romantic setting of the bay !

We stumbled across this place after trying to get into another restaurant that was rated much, much higher on Trip Advisor.
This place is truly a hidden gem. Our waiter/sommelier Tommaso Mascolo was warm and kind and efficient.
I highly recommend the tomato mozzarella soup appetizer, definitely worth the rather high price tag. The way the chef steams the basil below the bowl is unlike anything I've ever seen.
The entrees were wonderful. But the Deserts were something extraordinary. The pear juice wrapped in white chocolate served in a shell was incredible. See attached pictures.
I highly recommend this special place by the sea!!

We are open everyday... lunch & dinner.
What a location.
Not only a beach resort but a great restaurant. The views are fantastic out to the Mainland. Watching the moon rising during our meal was something special.
A good menu with many great dishes on offer. Carmine, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Excellent command of English having lived in Australia and visited the UK. He even went to get more liquor nazionale, especially for us, having just run out. Now that is service!
Well worth a visit.

This is palace we have returned to many times and every time it is great. The Family that owns it are very wonderful and gracious. They raise their own produce, rabbits and grow their own wine. They make a huge effort to assist, encourage and the service is very personable. The food is cooked when you order it, the food is very fresh and straight out of the oven or pan. Our Ischian friend's highly recommend this place as well. Yu can ask for and buy a bottle of their table wine to take with you for drinking with snacks and meal back at your accommodation. The rabbit is something you have to try and experience. As mentioned in another review, some of the best pasta you will eat ever. They have wee bibs for you that we recommend using as you will want to tuck in. We will be back in September for more. If you want Authentic, this is the place.

Surrounded by the vineyards, Cantine Pietratorcia offers a selection of traditional recipes like the coniglio all´ischitana, tender rabbit meat cooked in copper pans, Gragnano pastas with fresh fish, juicy home-grown vegetables, all accompanied by the wines of our production. Visitors can also enjoy degustation menus including cheeses from the Apennine Mountains, local charcuteries and our homemad
It seems from the reviews that most/all had dinner at the restaurant at the winery. We had dinner at the restaurant near the harbour in Forio.
We shared 4 dishes (mozzerella, pasta, meat and desert) which were very very good. Accompanied by a very good red wine from Pietratorcia.
Kind staff!

Always open for LUNCH and DINNER. There is a small sand bay peeking the Aragonese Castle, where time passes slowly and enjoyable. You can pamper yourself at the beach or choose the lawn, swimming among the rocks of Sant'Anna and explore the beautiful seabed. You can relax amidst the scents of the garden and enjoy delicious Mediterranean cuisine of our chef, in the evening, for an intimate dinner and enveloping. The Gardenia Mare every moment of the day is pure pleasure.
At this restaurant we had the best seafood ever. The people were very kind and helpful and service was very efficient. We got there on a Sunday without booking which shouldn't have done as the place was quite busy. The gentleman in charge was realy helpful as he arraigned a table for us in a minute. We got there by boat from near the Aragonese Castle using Angelo Cassano Barche which was super helpfull.

Mario is a very friendly and gentle Person; here you can enjoy real Ischia dishes like bruschetta, fish seafood or "coniglio alla cacciatora" (rabbit)- you can find something for vegetarians as well for a reasonable price. Try the "limoncello" a typical Liquor of Lemon.
