We tried this Italian Restaurant a couple of times during our 10 day stay in Inzell. We decided to go a second time as the first was so good, and the second visit was even better! The Pizza's are on the large side with plenty of fillings and very tasty. Can't wait to return next year.

Loved this cosy little place, so visited twice during our week's stay. Lovely wooden interior, and very pleasant staff. Had the Bauern Groestl on both occasions as it was so good and excellent value. Word of warning - premises are small and the place is so poular - so do try and make a reservation.

We just happened across this restaurant attached to Schmelz Gasthof as we were driving passed on the main road and it seemed like a quiet spot for lunch.
On descending the hill, we found the place was packed with hikers (and most seemed well into their 60s) all getting fortified for their afternoon trek.
There is no English menu but with a bit of pointing and Reading a bit of the specials board we were both happy to stick to "Today's Specials" and at less than 10 Euros we were well pleased - and well fed. Like all the others we ate on the large shady veranda and despite the number of guests, service was relatively prompt. Importantly for travellers, there were good clean toilets.
I wouldn't go out of my way, but if in the vicinity, give it a try.

US und Steak-Restaurant
We booked a table on a Wednesday night and the place was full. The waitress was knowledgeable about the vast quantity of nests on offer and was quick to take out order. I had the rib eye medium rare and it was one of the best steaks I've had. However, I wish I'd tried the surprise platter that one of our party had. It contained horse, lama and kangaroo.
I'd certainly visit again if I'm ever in the area

Have been here twice now. First time was with a large group and special menu and second with my son. Both times the food was of a good standard. The veg rosti was extremely tasty with freshly grilled vegetables. It's a great place on a summer evening to sit outside for a meal and/or drink. The service is friendly and efficient. definately will go again.

Very tasty and fresh pizza. Loved the hospitality and service in this family run restaurant. Wish it was in my city to go there regularly. The local beer is also very fresh. Would recommend anyone going around inzell to visit this place.

We were a big group and had a lovely table outside. The service was good and the food was excellent. Really nice atmosphere and our daughter was delighted to get a ice lolly at the end. We ate schnitzel, trout, burgers, chicken kebabs., all very good. The chocolate dessert was our favourite though. Very reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again.
