Cafe Rita is an addition to the main restaurant of The Classic Hotel in Imphal. It is located bang opposite to the hotel reception and is THE place to be in Imphal.Though the cafe fare is limited to selected light snacks, pastries and a few mocktails, the place is popular for its ambience. Saturdays and Sundays feature live music gigs and one is bound to run into the who is who of the city. Service is prompt though on week ends (because of the music), one would have to make an effort to catch the attention of the waiters.

Nice environment and service. The coffee and dessert here are also nice. And it is not too pricey as well.

OK hotel is one of the reasonable hotel for having launch who loved chicken. The taste of chicken available at O K Hotel is something different from other hotel. The uniqueness of the said hotel is that my colleagues from Chennai and Delhi always demanded to have the O K Chicken.

Michelle's Sweet Temptation is a little place with the widest range of cup cakes and customized cakes. the few seats that are available in the bakery cafe are actually high stools along a small counter that gives you a view of the delectable range of goodies: pastries, cheese cake, red velvet cup cakes, sandwiches, cookies, mini pizzas and more. one can hang around on the seats or take away goodies. a popular bakery for birthday and other occasions, Michelle's Sweet Temptation is where one must go in Imphal if you are looking for something sweet, light and beautiful to look at. the cakes here have a range of designs that are customized according to the demand. there is a coffee machine that serves a choice of latte, espresso and others.

I was wondering what the whole fuzz about Luxmi Kitchen was about and even contemplated not giving it a try when I visited Imphal.
However, I'm very happy we went there: It was an amazing mean, reasonably priced and just so, so, so tasty. The fish curries were to die for (and I usually don't even eat fish curries), the food was there within less than two minutes and staff was very friendly. It's a shame, this place is only open for lunch, but since it's not too far away from Mothers' Market, you can easily do it before or after a trip to the market.
As far as I know there's only two options to chose from: Veg or non veg. I went with non veg and loved it. However, I'm sure that the veg version is just as tasty! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Manipur.
