Howth (/ˈhoʊθ/; Irish: Binn Éadair, meaning "Éadar's peak") is a village and outer suburb of Dublin, Ireland. The district occupies the greater part of the peninsula of Howth Head, forming the northern boundary of Dublin Bay. Originally just a small fishing village, Howth with its surrounding once-rural district is now a busy suburb of Dublin, with a mix of dense residential development, quarries and wild hillside. The only neighbouring district on land is Sutton. Howth is also home to one of the oldest occupied buildings in Ireland, Howth Castle. It has been the site of filming for many films.

The West Pier in Howth is scattered with a range of fish shops and restaurants. The Oar House Restaurant is nestled in amongst this stretch of seafood extravagance. The Oar House serves the freshest of fresh fish, simply and sympathetically cooked in our open plan kitchen. In addition to our menu, each day our specials are based on the catch that day, giving our customers the opportunity to sample seafood as it should be.We are open from lunchtime seven days a week until late and look forward to seeing you soon.
Mainly seafood restaurant located along the pier in howth. Easy nearby parking makes this an easy place to visit. Booking recommended.
Smallish a la carte menu complemented by daily specials menu. Quite rustic inside decorated as an old fishing shack. Can get quite noisy during busy periods. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices and good quality well prepared food.

Aqua Restaurant offers stunning views over the water at Howth Sound, delicious dining and attentive but unobtrusive service. If you visit once, you will want to return again and again. We have our own kitchen garden & lobster pots sponsored in local waters to deliver our commitment where possible to Irish food. To sum it up 'Seriously good food in a room with a view'
Been here several times before. Quite a lot of changes in the past 12-15 months - staff all new [never a good sign - why did the old staff leave?], early bird menu disappointing with limited choice, still the food was good - their seafood...MoreDear Tony28945 We have had some new members of staff join us but for the most part our team remains as they were for the last number of years. Not sure who you were missing or indeed did not recognise Regards Charles Smith Managing Director

Tel: 806 3921<br>They've got a couple of rave reviews from newspapers displayed in their restaurant, but unfortunately I didn't note which papers they were. Their seafood was incredibly fresh, perhaps bought right off of the docks. We had incredible fried oysters and a hearty seafood chowder as appetizers, then an earlybird seafood special for two for dinner which included fishcakes, crawfish, mussels, Dublin Bay Prawns, squid, smoked salmon, and a small salad. Beautifully plated, amazingly delicious. I hope you're able to get more info because this place is not to be missed!
Seafood is a must-have at Howth, and Deep Restaurant never fails to deliver. We had a seafood platter, crab risotto, garlic prawns, soup of the day, and a coffee each. Wait staff were surprised that we could finish it all, but the food was just TOO GOOD. Even the bread and butter alone was a fantastic combination. Oh, and the specials are written on these HUGE boards that could have been window shutters in a previous life. The place has quite a few repeat customers too, which speaks for its reliability!

We came here for a late lunch, waited for 40 minutes for a table which was ok without a reservation. Food was very good, we ordered an extra calamari which we cancelled since it wasn't arriving but we found out that the waitress never placed the order in the first place. There is a 10% service charge in the bill, be aware people.

An award winning cafe-restaurant-deli & bar in the centre of Howth village. Modern Irish home cooking of super local seasonal produce. The House is a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner & weekend brunch. Outdoor dining in the sunny back garden. Outdoor kids play area.
This is my favourite spot for breakfast or brunch! I have been here numerous times and I have never once had bad service or a disappointing meal! The coffee is just delicious and the fact that the staff caters for lactose intolerant customers is great as I always get the almond milk! There is a great selection of eggs, fries, salads and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend this cosy and charming spot!

We had a good time here and the service is good. The food is OK but can still be improved. And there's a 10% service charge contained without telling the customer in advance. But I think the service is worthwhile to some extent. We spent about 20-30 Euro per person.

I love my wife and family, and after that I love food, but especially fish and chips. I've tried many versions but Beshoffs is attached to a now wonderful memory of us celebrating our tenth anniversary hiking beautiful Howth and picnicking and enjoying a Cod fish Sandwich. We tried to avoid the seagulls but one followed us up along the trail! I might have to fly back across the pond cause I want some Beshoffs right now!
