My husband and I went twice for breakfast. He had the mocha frappe and a bacon, egg and cheese Sandwich both times. I had the iced mocha latte, the white chocolate raspberry scone, and a slice of banana bread. The prices for drinks are comparable to starbucks; the baked good and food slightly higher, but I believe that is to be expected on the island. The scone was absolutely delicious and the flavor of the mocha latte delicious. The staff was very friendly. I hope to go back someday.

Family owned and operated since 1985 Harbour's Edge offers great atmosphere friendly staff and an authentic Hope Town dining experience. Join us for lunch, dinner or just drinks on our covered deck over looking the Harbour, a picture perfect setting with the historic Elbow Key lighthouse just across the way. Harbour’s Edge has one of the most diverse menu on Elbow Cay, even offering gluten free options; certainly there is something here for everyone! A great selection of salads that can be topped with seafood, chicken or steak, burgers, sandwiches and wraps, classic Bahamian dishes as well as the best beef, poultry, and seafood selections on the island. If that weren’t enough we also offer delicious daily lunch and dinner specials. There is a good reason Harbour’s Edge is a favorite among locals and visitors alike; the food and service is outstanding!
The night we visited was pizza night and the place was crowded. There was a local band playing and the ambience was party perfect. We were visiting from South Florida so we did not order the pizza. We had the conch, mahi and wahoo, all...MoreWe appreciate your review, and are pleased that you enjoyed your visit with us. Come see us on your next trip to Hope Town! Thank you.

Was recommended by fellow cruiser. Took a bit to find but fell in love with the place. Very clean, bright patio bar and grill with steps leading onto the beach (ocean side). Service was great, and menu, while basic, was good. Fish fingers were seasoned and grilled (no batter) were soo good. Had a burger and great. Some Bahamian sudes rounded oit the menu. Drinks a bit pricey, but large and good. Highly recommend this hideaway.

Enjoyed lunch at this seaside restaurant and bar overlooking the pristine Hope Town harbor . The best Seating is outside on a covered dock where you can watch schools of fish below. The restaurant menu offers simple casual dining entrees and sandwiches as well as seafood entrees. Service was ok and our group enjoyed our experience overall.

I loved the Firefly. It was our favourite place on the island for dinner by a mile. Being vegetarian and gluten free there is usually very limited choice but this restaurant caters well for both including offering a delicious gluten free veggie hamburger and lots of lovely salads and other veggie options. We spoke to other guests who said how great the meat and fish were too. The staff can not be nicer and they really make you feel so welcome it’s such an accommodating warm welcoming place I think you’d find it hard not to love.
If you don’t have a golfcart, if you arrange at time of booking, they will send a complimentary shuttle to pick you up from the village and drop you back after dinner. Ask for a table overlooking the water and get there to watch the sunset ! An absolute must do restaurant to visit on the island. Enjoy!

My wife and I kept walking by here. Finally stopped by for lunch. Glad we did. Out of this world BLT. Surver was friendly and helpful. The scenery was awesome sitting on the dock. Completely covered so you won't get sunburned. You can drive the boat right up to the restaurant. Drink prices are reasonable. Food prices are the same. Love this place.

We walked to Vernon's our first morning in town. We got a loaf of coconut bread and some bananas for breakfast. The bread was really good, especially once we had a chance to warm it up. Later that afternoon I trucked down and bought a whole key lime pie, which I ate 3/4 of during our week stay (my husband only ate a few bites of that). It was delicious. Later in the week they had smaller/personal sized key lime pies available. Wish they'd had that the day I went, but when in Hope Town, eat pie :) We got a loaf of guava walnut bread to take to my parents and they said it was delicious. Hope to visit again someday.

Many of the restaurants on Elbow Cay are more upscale and very expensive. We enjoyed a break from these restaurants by getting wonderful barbecue take-out from Papa Nasty's. The BBQ was really good- smoky and flavorful. The cole slaw and mac and cheese were also tasty. Unless you choose to sit at the picnic tables, you can take your meal back to your accommodations and will have enough for leftovers. Note: Papa Nasty's does not accept credit cards.
