...somehow in the back of a corner in Kelkheim, this cozy place really surprises dish by dish... They have just astounding Italian flavours in every dish, a lunch menu of ridiculous 10 Euro with 3 dishes, super freshly made bread with butter...I mean, really WOW.WOW.WOW. The pumpkin soup, the lasagna like pasta with spinach and cream, and the apple tart at the end were just delicious. The fact that they have different gelato desserts (also during the winter) makes the place even better. There is also a "surprise menu", but many different dishes like octopus (at reasonable prices, but even if it was more expensive...it would be worth it...)...that I will definitely try next time.
The atmosphere is rather classic but simple, service extremely nice. Definitely worth the detour from Frankfurt city!

Typical family restaurant in the typical german village. For those who know only the the street number as a address, the place could not be very easy to find. You may choose the outdoor sitting, which could be very good idea, because the nearest restaurant's surroundings are separated from main pedestrian zone by range of buildings. Thus, sitting at the table only a little of eyes watch what you eat.
The staff is extremely helpful and hospitable. Menu is short but everybody could find something for himself. Definitely, I could recommend that restaurant.

If what you're looking for is eating a dinosaur sized schnitzel or burger...than this is the place for you! Only the meat quality could be a bit better. Small issue: they served us cold french fries.... :(Dear Luca S, thank you for your feedback. We are looking forward to your next visit. Your Waldgeistteam

Priceworth Italian, cosy small restaurant.
They offer more special dishes, but also standard Italian menue. Steak (15-20 Eur), salads (8-12 Eur), fish (12-18 Eur), coffee & cake aswell.
They have a beergarten in the middle of the Hofheim shopping street.
Hofheim is situated next to a wine region (Rheingau, Riesling) and in al restaurants they offer a large wine list.

This has to be one of the best meals I have ever had, we went there on Friday October 23rd as a couple, the restaurant was quite busy but the service was fantastic, my wife and I love fish and this restaurant has a great selection of fish, I had a starter mix of fish and my wife had shrimps with avacado, both starters were fantastic, we both decided on sole for the main course and again the selection didn't let us down, the fish was boned in front of us and the presentation was excellent, the waiter selected a very nice white wine to compliment the fish and it was also a great choice.
This restaurant has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and we will certainly go back again for a special occasion, this is not a place where you can go every week as you really pay for the quality, although the price v quality is worth the evening, you should consider about 170 Euro for an evening for 2.

In the middle of winter, with snow outside, it almost seems like you are in a ski hut in the alps. The food is good, the atmosphere rustic and comfortable. I like this place a lot, and would recommend it to all to try.

It's a small place, beautiful in summer as you may sit outside. The food is either international or spanish, in any case always superb. We had a salad with roasted chicken as main course, the kids had tapas. Everything freshly prepared and delicious. You need to make a reservation as the place is fully booked every night.

Our first meal with family in Germany was here at the Türmchen. You have to get a pfannkuchen plate! There are so many options, from savory to sweet (even Indian). Be warned, the portion is large! The sides include fried potatoes. They even have vegetarian options. It honestly was one of the best meals we had in all of Germany. The pfannkuchen was stuffed with all kinds of goodness, and served hot. This is a large, thin pancake and a major part of German kitchen tradition. Zum Türmchen (Tower) celebrates this tradition in the finest way!
The summer Saturday provided the perfect ambiance outside to watch the kids play and to see the bustle of the market. Hofheim is such a wonderful town with friendly people. The service here was also very attentive and friendly.
We had such a wonderful meal here with our family, and we can't wait to visit again.

We had dinner during our stay in hotel. Meal was tasty, beer average, wine very fine. Price acceptable.
