We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Arenberg. As a group of ten we had a pre-arranged set menu but everything from appetisers to petit fours was top notch in every respect. House wines were well paired with outstanding food which was enjoyed by all of us. Restaurant is understandably busy given the quality and value on offer, but service was exemplary and the staff were attentive and enthusiastic. Wonderful 5* experience. Thank you.

We sat outside for a business dinner just a couple blocks from the castle on the university grounds.
The prix fixe was phenomenal especially paired with the wine.
Service was also top notch
For americans, they have English menus and every wait staff spoke English from good to better than some americans I know
Definitely need to go back.

Fantastic food, delicate and sophisticated. Service is very friendly and the room is light, modern but not cold, with enough space between the tables to feel intimate. The 3 course lunch menu at 45 euros is a great value, coming with 3 pre-starters. Interesting and original flavours. The a-la-carte menu and dégustation menu are more expensive but for a meal to remember it is worth the trip.

upon arrival, we got a homemade lemonade on the Terrace, refreshing. Aperitifs were original: fresh apple juice (top), a local lager, a fresh gueuze, ... and all the classic ones.
We went for the 4 course. Some nice appetizers were followed by a fresh Holstein beef tartar. Than came a very fresh dish with a variety of radish. Main was a perfectly cooked cod with some cockles and buttermilk. Dessert was based on 'kriek'beer. We had a surprisingly fresh orange wine to go with its. Perfect service.

Had the lunch menu, which was OK: not the biggest portions, but enough. Very nicely presented. The tastes were decent enough, but I expected it to be a bit more special -- maybe also due to the way they present it, it didn't live up to my expectations.
The staff were quite friendly. The restaurant itself has a nice interior.

I was overwhelmed by the huge selection in tea and coffee specialities they offer. Nevertheless with few smart questions, the staff easily helps you to make a choice. Together with my delicious green tea with mango I had a cinnamon bun which was really good. The cafe was full of people, so it is probably not a secret place to go, but definitely worth it!

If I could, I would eat every week there. I just cant get enough of this restaurant. Its one of the best ones, that's for sure. And the service is really excellent. We have been several times there and we love to return to this restaurant. You will not regret trying it out. If you like Nepali/Indian food, you should not miss this one.

The Faculty Club restaurant recently got rebranded: Cum Laude was born! Of course I was curious to try this new restaurant with the promising name, so when friends suggested this place for a Friday evening dinner, I quickly said yes.
I do have to be honest here, I was a little bit disappointed by the whole experience. Food was fine, but not exceptional (certainly not worth a Cum Laude). The suckling pig was baked too hard, which made the meat dry and not succulent as should be expected. A pity, because this was the main course. I did like the mussels in spicy sauce. All in all there was no single dish that really blew me away.
The wine was nice, but the presentation of the wines at our table was very minimal. Most of the waiters just mentioned the name and the grape. I had hoped for some more information about the wines.
The waiters were friendly, but I got the impression that service was somehow a little bit chaotic. Perhaps the new team and concept don't run smoothly yet. Something no doubt will improve in the future.
