The patrons helped us read and order from the menu. The beer was cold and the food was very tasty! Excellent food.

A traditional German brauhaus serving excellent food and beer brewed on the premises. I had the sausage and vegetable soup, a hearty tasty dish served with a heavy rye bread. Absolutely fabulous when washed down with the flavoursome beer. Great value and a fantastic atmosphere, a must for families and friends. My fourth visit to Siegburg and I hope not last. The Brauhaus is a delight....enjoy!

The restaurant is located in an old watermill, next to a little stream with a wonderfull beergarden. The indoor restaurant is very romantic. In summer you can order food fresh from the grill. The allday menues are very tasty.

I love this place!
We stopped in this small town enroute to Frankfurt to grab something to eat. We were walking into another restaurant but the smell coming out of La Vida Loca was just too enticing.
The food was simple and tasty with everything home made.
The owner could not have been more welcoming especially when we don't know how to speak German. His English was very good and he was so accommodating and was letting us taste some things off his menu.
My husband and I would definitely be coming here again when we visit Germany next!

When you approach Sängerheim you would not believe that there is a hidden gem in this building with its rather boring exterior. Don't be put off by this, just enter and indulge! The food is out of the ordinary both in quality and composition. We had cauliflower with apricots - wonderful! Black beer ice cream - phenomenal! Black cherries with rosemary as amuse bouche - divine! The journey to find this excellent restaurant in a small village south of Cologne is absolutely worth it! The menu changes every month!

A proper German "Wirtshaus", the Hennefer Wirtshaus is a fantastic place to meet friends, to have good and not too expensive food and a nice fresh beer. The service is quick and although the restaurant is always really full, works excellently well. The staff is really amazing. The food is very good and they have special daily offers.

Upmarket Italian restaurant where you could have pizza, but why would you want to do this if you could have real authentic Italian dishes. I started with a venison carpaccio from a local deer - just delicious! Mains was a Saltimbocca which melted in your mouth. This was served with seasonal veggies and roast potatoes.
The house red wine was from Montpulciano and was really good value for money.
My one point of criticism would be the price for a bottle of water (5.50 Euro) which just seem exorbitant.

I ate here the first time just after the restaurant opened about a year ago. It made a good impression and I tried it again. Consistent quality and a good tip for lunch or take-out. Dönertasche (4.00€), Teigschiffchen (4.50€), Pizza Margherita (5.00€), Pizza Prosciutto (6.00€), Coca Cola 0.2 liter (1.50€). You can sit inside or outside and the service is very friendly. The bread for the döner was fresh-made and tasted great. The same goes for the dough used for the Teigschiffchen. I highly recommend the Turkish menu. The kids enjoyed the pizza which gives you an alternative for anyone that does not want Turkish. Although I would look for an Italian if I am in the mood for pizza. ;)
