La Bastide Saint Antoine is now famously know for its 1 Michelin Star Restaurant where you will be able to enjoyed a cuisine based on lightness, delicacy and creativity, with fresh seasonal products, in a magical environment. Five months a year, you will be able to enjoy your meal on our Terrace under great trees, in the middle of our flower garden. For the rest of the year, we offer a inside dining room with a fireplace and a tasteful and light decoration. Our Chef Jacques Chibois is pleased to offer you different Menus depending on the market products and on his guests' special requests.
This haute cuisine restaurant delivers on every level. The setting is elegant, summertime Terrace Seating is wonderful.. The service is top notch. The food is imaginative and delicious. The veal main dish I enjoyed here was the tastiest I've had so far. The prices here are sky high, but if you can afford $200-300/person for dinner, do indulge here, you will not be disappointed.

My husband & I walked here for Sunday lunch with our dog Baz. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the fabulous service for an amazing 29 euro price tag. We enjoyed every mouthful; Chilled Courgette soup with wild garlic and fresh goats cheese, beautifully cooked Guinea fowl with polenta and rhubarb cake with yoghurt ice cream. We washed it all down with a very reliable and tasty bottle of Domaine de Rimauresq rose and walked away from lunch looking forward to our next visit.
They were fabulously accommodating with Baz - a rather large, albeit well behaved Labrador - he lay on the floor after our 4.5mile walk to lunch and the lovely staff just walked over him or served across him.
If you are in this neck of the woods - eat here!

Traveler's Choice 2015. Come discover Cuisine steeped in the flavors of Provence and the Mediterranean made with fresh products from the morning market. A very attentive service. In the enchanting village of Cabris, 4 kms from Grasse and 20 minutes from Cannes, the Auberge nestles in the court of honour of the feodal castle with its amazing panoramic view of the Cote d'Azur, from the Esterel hills to St Jean Cap Ferrat. . Savor the sun on the Terrace from the shade of our parasols, or relax before the imposing fireplace in the chateau's guard room.
The local pharmasist where we bought tooth paste faced with the question who serves 'copieux' portions, and that is what we were after: quality with quantity, not pizzicato sampling or gastro attitude - the 'vieux chateau' caters for that. The chied red cheeked waiter was most obliging but neither the Sancerre nor another one that we had were of character or distinction. The portions were small and the food was bland and well presented. The very small olives were good and here comes the question: we wanted fine unassuming food with generous serving- the automated brasserie and the derivatives do not cater for that it seems. At least in our catchments. It seems that the winter indoors setting is more appealing but if the food is the same?!

This was my first visit to this charming little restaurant run by husband and wife team; Delphine and Sebastien. The restaurant seats on the Terrace around 16 covers. The menus are a 'surprise' costing between €35>€75 depending on the number of courses. My wife and I had the four course €55 menu. The starter was a wonderful courgette flower arrangement, stuffed with wild herbs-just divine. Second course a local fish, oblade, served with green pea mousse, third course was a delicate slice of veal with a medley of local vegetables. For dessert we had coffee millefieulle ice cream. We had a bio red wine to accompany our meal. This restaurant really does serve authentic cuisine with an innovative twist, and deserves it's Michelin star status. Highly recommended.

We visited after Reading positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Fixed price lunch menu was delicious and good value. I had the Assiette Provencale...a greatest hits of local dishes, which was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Around 20 euros per head for 2 courses and a drink. Would recommend.

Excelent food. Best price/quality ratio since we got on the french riviera two days ago. Very friendly waiter. Good location in the center of Grasse.

It was a sunny Sunday, we sat under the awning in a very pleasant area. Parking was easy and the choices on the menu were many.
We chose the falafel which were excellent. Sadly Tabouleh was off the menu because it is winter.
Our main courses were chicken and Shawarma which were ample and very tasty. We washed it all down with a jug of Rosé from the local region.
The choice of sweets (Greek) was very limited so we just went for the pastries which were good, but not so fresh.
All in all it was a great new address to find and definately worth a re-visit before the month is out.
It is a family run business and the service is excellent.

Come have a nice time around a table in Portofino. We will be happy to welcome you during a meal in our traditional restaurant located on the town of Grasse. Do not hesitate to contact us and reserve your table now !
Not sure why this restaurant has relatively poor reviews. We first went here in desperation, as we arrived in Grasse on a Sunday evening, hungry, and could find no where open, and chanced on this. It is large and pleasingly decorated, in an italian style, with parking right outside - wonderful in Grasse! Delicious nibbles with our drinks, helpful friendly staff, and food very nice. We actually went here twice during our stay, and out of the 2 meals, my only complaint would be that the arrabiata sauce lacked real creative talent, but otherwise, would happily return
