Lovely location, on its own at the head of the small bay, and not stuck next to another identikit waterfront restaurant like most of the others, with the increasing racket that being close to others brings.
The food was of good quality, although the menu was fairly similar to most places in Pomena. The prices were on the lower side, which was nice, especially the beer, which was 25% less than anywhere else in town.
Service was polite and friendly, both from the waitresses at breakfast and in the evening, and also the young guy who did the drinks during the day.
It's certainly not the flashest place in town, if fact probably the lowest key, due to the relatively isolated location, but if you want some space, peace and quiet and also a lovely view, then this is ideal.

We had a good meal with friendly service. For piazza and draft beer price was really reasonable. Directions lead us to a dark, empty street a ways out of town. Restaurant is really less than a hundred yards from the harbor on the right going up the hill. If you walk further than that turn around!

During my 3 night stay in Polace this was the best eating establishment I found. Do not visit this island expecting 5* hotels and Michelin starred restaurants as they don't exist here. What you will find however, is delicious authentic home cooked food, very friendly and helpful waiters and beautiful views. My favourite dish was the beef stew with homemade gnocchi-so hearty and delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice is also yummy! The people here are so kind and friendly, make sure you ask the waiters what they recommend. I would also mention that it is very reasonably priced.

There are quite a few attractive restaurants around Pomena's beautiful bay, but this was our favourite. The view is particularly good (especially of the sunset), the Terrace is spacious, the waitress is very helpful, the menu is varied and reasonably priced.
We enjoyed everything from beautifully cooked tuna steak and whole squid, to some excellent meat dishes, to seafood pasta.

We had great service here. They have a nice wine list, fresh seafood (Pomena in general has great seafood), and they also serve wild boar which is not to be missed. We had a large party and they treated us very well!

We were here last year and year before that and everything was excellent so we went yesterday again. This was our last visit. The waiter was probably new in this business, quite small portions, terrible bread, squids served with cabbage !?! and the portion was way to small, shrimps were also served as for a children portion. Don't kniw what happened here but this place will not see us anymore.

Wow. Just had the most lovely evening enjoying a great sunset and food to match in this lovely restaurant. The service from the waitress was nothing short of excellent- attentive and chatty but never overbearing.
The starter platter to share was just the best of all that's great about Croatian food then we had whole sea bass to share which was cooked brilliantly, not over flavoured or salted and served with simple but tasty potatoes and green beans.
A great meal in a lovely situation!!

Great location, but the food is average and overpriced. The waiter did not offer us a menu, but reeled off a few choices. We assumed there was no menu, but after ordering chicken and fish, we saw another table had been provided with menus. The food was average, the portions small and it was expensive. Lovely view though!

We were here while stopping at mljet on a sail Croatia holiday.
The restaurant is up a short hill and has a beautiful view of the harbour and the added bonus of being away from the hustle and bustle of the main road restaurants.
The starters were generous and the grilled scampi was fresh and delicious. Great selection of seafood with steaks, chicken and lamb also available. Local wine and beer was also very good.
Overall a fantastic meal with a lovely host and the best prices we have experienced on the Islands. Definitely a hidden gem on Mljet!
