This could have been so much better. The dinner menu was uninspired and what was on it wasn't the best. The dining room is tired and requires refurbishment. Outside lighting would enhance the ambience for the evening meal. Lunch on the Terrace was very good and the chip encrusted perch was innovative and tasty!

Park House is a Goderich Heritage Building on the shore of Lake Huron in Goderich. Great Pub Style food. Our specialties are wings, ribs and Great Lakes Yellow Perch. A friendly, casual atmosphere with Friday and Saturday entertainment on the patio that overlooks Lake Huron and Harbour Park. In the winter season we have occasional entertainment. Check out the website for details and our complete menu. All major credit cards accepted. Licensed with 18 beers on Draught
It was a busy Tuesday night, as that is their fish and chip night. Waitress did come over quickly, she wasn't the friendliest, but she was busy, so I get it. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and said he wouldn't order it again, it was ok, but not great. I ordered the chicken tenders, they were anything but tender. They were completely dried up! They should take that off the menu if that is what they serve. It was $12.99 and an extra .75 cents for hot sauce instead of plum sauce. I could have bought frozen from grocery store and cooked at home and they would have bee 100x better. I can't believe they'd let that out of the kitchen. Lots of other choices in Goderich, so I may come for drinks, but wouldn't order a meal again.

While visiting the area we happened upon this place. The rooms in the house are small, but they definitely try not to cram people in. We had a lovely dinner and the service was great. For dessert you could order a half order which was prefect as we were all full from dinner. I would suggest making a reservation as it did get packed when we were leaving.

While camping just north of Goderich, we were told about this place. All the food is reasonably priced and what we had was good. They also have 50 flavors of soft serve ice cream. I recommend the watermelon flavored. Their footlong dog are truly foot long. I had the super ranch burger with fries. Go for it.

Stopped in for dinner, reservation nabbed us a front table out of noise and bustle.......great menu and beer selection, many from local area. We had jerk chicken and pizza/salad options. Both delicious. Service was great, 2 or 3 servers kept us going and loved the younger one with spikie hair. Will be back on next visit to Goderich.

If your website states you are open from noon to seven on Sunday, and if for any reason you can't open that day, you owe it to your potential patrons to post a notice indicating why you are closed. We were three of a handful of people standing around and trying to open a door that was locked. We felt more than a little annoyed. Get with the program, guys!

My girlfriend and I grabbed a dinner here at Paddy O'Neil's during our visit to Goderich.
I had a burger and she had a chicken Sandwich. Both were pretty average and nothing special but good portions and properly cooked so hard to complain. The cost was pretty reasonable too from what I could tell.
Service was subpar and the interior is a bit shabby but there's some lovely outdoor Seating so I recommend sitting outside if you're visiting during the warmer months.
I wouldn't recommend visiting as there are plenty of other places you could visit in town but if you're in a hurry and just want something quick that isn't fast food then you could give it a try.

Here We Grow Again! We've moved from where it all began as a small Diner serving up Comfort Food to a much larger location just across the street. We think you'll like the changes.... You can now find us at 58 Courthouse Square
Enjoyed our lunch here very much. Food was excellent and tasty (we had the daily lunch special). No undercooking or overcooking for that matter. Reasonable prices. Open feeling with tables not crammed together. Unique to have kitchen on view while they prepare the food (see my photo). Very clean, including washroom. Service was very good and friendly, in particular since they were quite busy on a very rainy day. Over the past few years, we have been doing a mini Ontario small town diner tour and this one ranks high on our list.

Part II Bistro Goderich is located on the historic courthouse square downtown. We are small, intimate bistro serving locally sourced, award winning fare. Fully licensed. Serving craft beers and diverse wines. Licensed patio in summer months. Available for private functions and parties. Catering available for weddings and large events. The restaurant, through winter months, will be closed between the hours of 3pm and 5pm.
The best lunch we've had in a long time, owner is passionate about her craft still and the food was the real deal. None of this bought in easy same old crap, the food was full of flavor and every mouthful a pleasure. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to real quality for a change.
