I have spent many times frequenting the Gananoque area.... I have eaten at most places in the area and I am always pleasantly pleased with Cousins on king!! Unlike other restaurants I have been treated like family... kindness and respect while also always consistently having a good meal... I would recommend this place as it has warmth and character... with a down to earth atmosphere!!

We are also is inspired by local food and produce, as well as slow flavourful cooking and healthy eating. Business Hours (April 29th - Dec 24th) Monday - Closed. this is a great place for schnitzel and good Czech beer, and it is totally reliable. The service and the food are both excellent.

Great local Pub as often indicated in other reviews with good service and food..however, someone needs to fix or remove the Wednesday " music entertainment". While the performer may mean well and be a decent piano player, the vocals and volume are extremely over the top for anyone trying to enjoy a meal or a drink.
We have twice planned to visit but turned around on observing the same thing going on.
Sorry English Pub, other entertainment very enjoyable and fun but this is not.

I'm continually impressed by the Stonewater Pub in terms of its friendly service, tasty menu and talented performers.
Matt and Keenan did a fanstastic job presenting a four-course meal for New Year's Eve and they went the extra mile to accommodate our table's food restrictions from start to finish.
Love this whole team, you're the best!

This was not your typical Tim Hortons that most people are used to but maybe for the locals because they don't know how other ones do it.
The service was very slow considering how many people were working there, staff weren't great at multi-tasking, saw them mess up quite a bit of orders and the washrooms could use a good clean.
Staff that were on break were sitting at a table which wouldn't normally bother me but their loud conversation did including the topics they were discussing.....very inappropriate

the ice cream is average but the package of this place, where time (and prices) stood still, quite enticing. is very small and with only a couple of tables inside, we decided to taste a smoothie (quite good) and the two remaining home made cookies ice cream, that seemed to arrive from the 50's in individually hand sealed plastic bag oozing sweetness. and indeed while the ice cream was good, we found the cookies almost too sweet for our taste, but most would probably disagree and gobble them with glee.

Using local ingredients where ever possible our talented chef creates regionally-inspired seasonal menus for Watermark Restaurant. We believe in using quality ingredients including fresh herbs harvested daily from our on-site garden. Watermark Restaurant also features international vintages and a large selection of Ontario VQA Wines from Prince Edward County and the Niagara District. In addition, the restaurant's waterfront Terrace boasts one of the best views in the 1000 Islands region, making it the ideal place to enjoy expertly prepared fare.
I was quite attracted by this restaurant while we were walking nearby it. We could eat in the open air and it had a view on the lake.
There were a lot of people eating here. It was a popular restaurant.
We ordered our meal and the server misunderstood us. She thought we had ordered but one diner. She quickly ordered a new one for me.
It was delicious and the view on the lake was worthwhile.
I enjoyed my time here. It was a great meal! Worthwhile to eat here!

eat-in or take out for: Homemade baked goods, desserts, bread, soup, sandwiches, quiches, sausage rolls, specialty coffee, tea, craft beer, Ontario wine etc.
While exploring Gananoque, we enjoyed a home made Turkey club Sandwich along with coffee and pastries. All great and the steady line of lunch customers all appeared quite happy. My mother and I split the Sandwich to save room for the pastry, the cherry and blueberry danishes were delicious. Small and quaint atmosphere with friendly service. Would definitely recommend
