IMHO, eventhough they dont have the cheapest cuisine a Jap. Resto could offer, but Hiro Sakao is the best Japanese Restaurant in Erlangen-Fürth-Nuremberg Area.
I wasnt only for Lunch but also for Dinner in all 4 Seasons we have in Germany and they never let me down! I love teir Terrace as well.
Apart of my classic order Sushi n Sashimi my fave Dis: Ebi Tempura, Chicken Yakiudon for Dessert I love their tasty Coco or Bana-nogu! :D
Dont hesitate to try Jap. Beers out and their yummy cocktails either.

The La Palma in Fuerth is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Fuerth or Nuremberg. Very authentic Italian cuisine, with matching wines and desserts. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the quality of the food is outstanding.
It's not easy to find it, and the exterior doesn't hint at the nice interior and superb food you can expect, so don't let that distract you. It's best to make a reservation, because the La Palma is far from being unknown or unpopular.
The prices are as expected for a high class restaurant, but the food really is worth it.

We visit Penelope's Greek restaurant every time we stay in Furth for the Nurnberg Toy Fair. The food is excellent quality, the staff are good and the menu has English translation available. The haloumi starter was large and very tasty

Try the Laab. In our case it was shredded chicken and it comes with glutinous rice. The red Penang curry was done with coconut milk - real this time, not the odious substitution they do here mostly with cream and the noodles were great too. However the Laab was the outstanding dish.
Decor is simple so it's not the high end dining as far as ambiance is concerned. Food-wise it is.

Cafe und Kneipe
Dissapointing lunch; sent the pasta back as it was dry, sticky and generally poor in taste. The Schnitzel wasn't better either. Again very dry and over fried. My dog liked it though.

Traditional Franconian menu and excellent salad. Really nice staff. Prices are very reasonable. We had a great meal. Always full of locals.

...within old town of Fuerth. Lovely decorated, small restaurant serving high quality, but reasonably priced burger and salat. Sometimes also original Berlin Currywurst is available (and recommended to try). Attentive service staff. I would suggest to make reservation, especially in colder season when outside Seating is not open.

The cakes here are fantastic. The coffee... not so good. However, the staff was relatively friendly and as I said... what cakes! Lecker!

Food was excellent - we were a party of 8 who booked in advanced knowing that it was a very popular & busy restaurant.
All dishes were excellent, fresh hot & tasty. Portions are very big so be aware especially if you order starters!
Staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing menus in English which helped with my limited knowledge of German!
Excellent Value for money and great food in a lovely environment.

Pastarello is a small restaurant located in Fürth where everything is self-made: our pasta, our lemonades, our bread, our desserts. Here you can find several classic from the italian tradition, alongside more exotic and experimental creations.
I am italian and I can say that this restaurant has one of the best traditional fresh hand made pasta I ve ever tried in a restaurant...very nice people inside that makes you feel really at home...enjoy and buon appetito;)
Caprese+Carbonara and bolognese+Tiramisù= best match ever!!
