The service here was outstanding, very attentive and quick. We all ordered different burgers- they were all delicious. I had the Spicy BBQ Burger with deep fried jalapeños on top- with BBQ sauce. It was so good. Others had the Spinach and Blue Cheese burger and the Sour Cream and Cream Cheese Burger- we all raved and left so full.
Thanks for a great meal!

I know, it's only a Sandwich shop, but it does serve tasty and relatively healthy food.
It's fast, and the subs are custom-made to your condiment preferences, and are a good value.
When we attend conventions, we always prefer to bring a sub Sandwich rather than buy convention food.
This location has good service, the inside is very clean and bright, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
You will get a consistently good Sandwich here.
God Bless

I've been going to the various incarnations of this establishment for many years, and it never disappoints. For years, they have sold fresh Kawartha ice cream and delicious pizza. I like the patio that overlooks the locks, and it's the perfect place to get an...MoreThank you so much for taking the time to review our restaurant! We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience. Been passing this place for 15 years or more. Bad mistake!
Had the Canadian Burger combo for lunch. Wow! Real beef, real Cheddar, lots of bacon (streaky and peameal). Fresh topplngs. Homemade fries, too many to finish.
All this at a great price, and the service was quick and courteous.
Definitely will eat here again.

Was staying at a cottage on Cameron Lake and wanted a light lunch. Found this place and was totally pleased. The salsa quiche was amazing - the pastry was so light and flaky. Nice calm atmosphere on the outside patio away from the main road and the owners were very welcoming.
We loved it so much we went back for dinner!!!

I saw the other reviews, and decided it was worth the drive from Bobcaygeon to pick-up some Takeout. It was very good and we will order here again. The restaurant was busy with eat-in and take out customers waiting. Be prepared to call multiple times to get through at dinner time, and to wait up to an hour for the food to be ready for pick-up... all signs that a restaurant is doing well and has good food. Upon arrival, I was notified that there would be an additional 5-10 minute wait because they ran out of lemon chicken, and "she" (owner, chef, both?) had to hand-batter a new batch, and it was almost ready, but not quite. Again, this surprised me in a good way. I will never complain about waiting for freshly-made food. The lady at the front offered to bring the food to my car when it was ready since I had already paid, and my baby was in the car with my husband - I wanted to drive around the block to help prevent the baby from waking up before our 20 minute drive home. It was ready in 5 minutes, delivered to our car. I saw the other reviews mentioning to check your order before you leave, so we counted the containers quickly and went home. Found out that one of the containers that we counted was lemon chicken sauce (packaged separately so that the battered chicken stayed crisp), and our veggie fried rice was missing. Called the restaurant, they apologized quickly and we got the issue resolved over the phone. We will return, and be more thorough in checking our order before we leave. The value was good, the staff was friendly, and the food was good - better than our former favourite place in Toronto. We ordered lemon chicken, broccoli beef, vegetable chow mein, egg roles and the missing veggie fried rice. I would recommend all the food that we did try, and I'm willing to be that the rice would have been good too. Portions are typical for Americanized Chinese food. We had plenty for 2 days of leftovers, or it could have fed a family of 4-6, for roughly $7-10 each, including tax and tip.

This store has a bit of everything with a bakery and a restaurant. They have all sorts of gift items, household items and miscellaneous food and sundry items. It's definitely worth a visit!

...The delights of the Thai cuisine
Had dinner on the patio. Only folks there.wonder why:paint peeling on white picket fence, mud on floor and weeds peaking through fence. Noted a help wanted sign so I guess that is why service so slow.
Shrimp rolls to start perfect followed by green chicken and veggie mixture. Drank water because beer and wine very expensive.
You can eat inside and there were several people there.
What was amazing was the number of folks coming for Takeout. A constant stream.
