Summit Ridge Restaurant provides great food and warm ambience with an open log fire and relaxing couches. A genuine mountain lodge experience for casual dining and that special occasion. The restaurant seats 45 diners with various table settings, and can accommodate tables of 2 up to 10. There are also comfortable couches ( Seating up to 10) around the log fire for that pre dinner drink or after dinner port. The restaurant is situated high up in Falls Creek Village on Schuss St, with wide ranging mountain views through the snow covered trees.
The food remains impeccable and world class. We were in Falls Creek twice last year and on each occasion we had wonderful experiences, gastronomic and more than satisfactory service from waiting staff. So this year, the Summit was our first port of call. If anything, the food was even better than last year. Naturally, we immediately rebooked for two nights later. The adage 'what a difference a day makes', was amplified by the two day delay in rebooking. The food was just as wonderful but service was exponentially inferior and tainted the dining pleasure. To be fair, the two waiting staff in service didn't stop to draw breath, but they simply couldn't cope. It is not the place of the patron to feel sorry for the staff members who can't keep up, but rather the responsibility of management to ensure that staff numbers are adequate to support a superior kitchen staff and to reflect a high calibre restaurant.

he Last Hoot is open 7 days from 4pm serving dinner and drinks. The Italian inspired menu consists of Antipasto plates, Caesar Salad, generous servers of Pastas, slow braised Beef Cheeks on a bed of rustic potato and you can't forget about the famous pizzas and to finishing it all with one of the house made desserts. Last Hoot menu has gluten free and vegetarian options available, with the chefs willing to accommodate other dietary requirements. You can't pass up the opportunity of enjoying an ice cold beer or glass of wine with friends in the sun on the balcony whilst taking in one the best sunsets Falls Creek has to offer of the Kiewa Valley so ensure you bring your camera. Happy hour 5.30pm to 6.30pm daily. Ask our friendly staff for our great daily combo pizza and drinks deals.
Sometimes you don't want fancy 'foodies' food... you just want good old pizza (in your trackies, lol). Well The Last Hoot is where you go! The staff are friendly and welcoming and it's toasty-warm inside. It's casual dining with a relaxed atmosphere and family friendly. There's a good selection of pizzas and the prices are reasonable considering it's an Alpine Village. Have eaten here a couple of times now over the past few years and plan to return next season. Kids (7 & 9 yrs) enjoying coming here as well! There is a take-away option available too if you stay nearby.

Looking for a restaurant in Falls, we decided to try this place after eating at several top restaurants recommended on trip advisor and left feeling underwhelmed. This place is underrated. Food is plentiful, delicious and great value for money. Went back two nights later and it didn't disappoint. Some of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Staff are very attentive. Atmosphere is casual but warm and inviting.

This place has both negative and positive reviews. I really think there is absolutely no point in regarding Milch Cafe either as a great foodie place and be disappointed, or suddenly discover that this is the PLACE to eat in the universe.
It is a normal Cafe Restaurant on top of Victoria´s Ski Mountain, and even though it is not a particularly cozy environment, since it is located in a modern residential building, it is what I believe to be a confortable setting. It has outdoor Seating and me, not being suitably dressed up ( I had a polo and a small photo chaleco on), had to change my mind and go back inside because it was too chilly to really enjoy a meal. It is, after all, a ski destination and even it is the middle of the Oz summer....
Staff were very pleasant. Not perfectly efficient at all, but all the youngsters working there ( I assume college students on vacation) were working hard and doing their best.
I ordered a beer and a local glass of red wine, together with the nachos. The portion at AUS$22 was very generous. However, it was cold by the time it got to me, cheese, which was abundant, was no longer stretchy. The meat, good flavor, did have the one or two odd bean in it which might suggest it came originally from a can of chili con carne. The nachos were perfect, not at all soggy, so I gather that the heating had not been via microwave, which is a definite plus.

Attunga Lounge Bar and Restaurant is situated within Attunga Alpine Lodge and offers share plate style dinning in a relaxed atmosphere. Share a meal in the lounge area taking in the views while enjoying our fireplace or have a more formal Seating in our restaurant during the winter months.
With a new modern Australian share plate menu and an exciting young chef, Attunga is a fantastic dinner spot. We feasted on bruschetta and garlic bread, delicious gnocchi with a peppery rocket salad, arancini balls, beef with a creamy truffle-infused mash and green beans and a gorgeous cheese platter. Great ambience and perfect sunset views.

We enjoy had a fantastic meal here while staying at Falls Creek. The service was good, food fresh and ambience relaxed. The open fire was lovely. My son had the flathead and chis and I had the nights special of salmon, we enjoyed both.

Ok, but pretty average at $7 for 3 cinnamon donuts. Happy to pay the extra in the snow but when I challenged the 50c eftpos fee (admittedly under $10) I was put back in my box quite abruptly. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I still enjoy friendly customer service at falls creek.

Jerry's Stall offers the tastiest hot meals in Falls Creek. Goulash soup, goulash pies, vegetarian goulash flavor pies, real hot chocolate, baked doughnuts (no oil, czech pastry (kolach), the best gluhwein in Falls Creek and czech - Bohemian cookies Jerry's Stall is now in Parallel Street, in the front of Karelia Alpine lodge
Always looking forward to visiting Jerry's stall when I come to Falls Creek. Was looking forward to eating a Goulash pie & drinking gluhwine whilst taking a lunch break from the slopes.
Instead I find an ice-cream stall??! If I wanted ice-cream (in the snow?) I would just go to the local supermarket. Jerry's Stall was such a treat and added so much atmosphere.
Luckily I discovered the stall was moved in front of Karelia Alpine Lodge but would prefer it to be returned to it's original home in slalom plaza. Bring back Jerry's Stall, make it happen Falls Creek!!

Astra Bar & Restaurant is located in the luxurious Astra Lodge. Open daily through the winter snow season from 3pm serving up a delicious apres menu followed by a European inspired dinner menu from 6pm Also available within Astra are tailored weddings, conferences, party's etc.
Great venue for apres skiing. I have spent a day here in the past. Great atmostphere (although could have done without meatloaf on the playlist). This place got smashed at lunch and could not keep up with orders, resulting in one of our group missing out his drinks and then unfortunately also his meal separately. The staff apologized and didn't charge for his meal - which was good. Avoid this place at lunch if u can (come earlier). But well worth the stay for the coffee otherwise
