We went to dinner with my parents, who were visiting from the US. We order for four of us, and two of our plates arrived first, with the wrong side. When we asked why they had switched the side, they said they didn't have the side we had ordered. As we are accustomed to restaurants that do not serve everyone together, the two of us began to eat as my parents waited for their plates. I had ordered a cazuela de mariscos which had more butter than anything I have ever eaten, and very few other flavors. Even the flavor of the seafood in the stew was overwhelmed.
When my parent's still did not come, we asked when the two other plates would be ready. The waiter responded "what other plates". This was surpising, given that he had asked us to confirm these other two plates. He then informed us that the cook had left for the evening. We asked how he could solve the problem, and he had no idea. A manager blamed us saying that waiters always repeat the order and obviously we hadn't orded. My parents were so upset that they left without eating and we went home to sleep - but not before we were charged full price for the meal!
Save yourself a problem - go to the agachaditos. They are cheaper, taste much better, open later, probably fresher, and the even the service is better,

La mejor variedad de cafés, jugos y aguas aromáticas. Además con frecuencia varían la carta desde crepes, ensaladas, empanadas argentinas... Todo casero.

Pizza shouldnt be this expensive. Although the food looked and smelled amazing I didnt get the chance to taste it. Unfortunately when I went they were extremely busy. After waiting about 30 minutes to place my order and then waiting another 45 minutes and not receiving my food I just left and went somewhere else. Im sure during less busier times its a good place. But expensive.

The restaurant itself is fairly basic, but the seafood is good. We were travelling from Quito to Tonsupa, and this was a good place to stop for lunch. The portions are enormous - be very hungry. Service is fast and efficient

Went to the location on the boardwalk. America, the owner was very nice. Wine list, top shelve whisky and beer available. Food was excellent. Some unique dishes to the region. Best views in town of the beach and boardwalk. Live music some nights and TV's. Always trust my reviews..

Un lugar agradable y limpio. Tiene muy buena comida. La sazon es tipica esmeraldeña y lo mejor son los asados por las noches aunque solos los sirven de jueves a sabados
