Cozy restaurant near the beach with a caribbean accent, our specialty are the jamaican spareribs but we also serve a nice steak, slowly cooked lambshoulder and much more. Also several dishes for people who have a gluten diet, we also speak english and dutch.
Stayed in the area for a week and this was the first restaurant I went to. Stumbled upon it as we were by the beach. Went and and food was great, standard food but with the Caribbean twist they put on it makes it's amazing!!...Moredear saf, thanks for your review, indeed the caribbean twist makes all the difference. hope to see you back soon.

Leonardo restaurant is located in the center of Albir on the famous bulevard the Los Musicos , its a Dutch restaurant . The Dutch owner and also your chef, will surprise you with a 3 course meal including house wine from € 12.95 . There is also a VIP menu for € 21.95 , which consists of 4 courses with exclusive choice options , but you start with a Cava. Everything has been thought of to make your staying as pleasant as possible, atmosphere, music , climate , lighting , chairs and furnishings are perfectly matched and will make your lunch or dinner as attractively as possible. Outside is also agreeable, when the weather permits , and that is Albir usually the case , lunch or diner can be served outside . it is thought to comfort and looks out on the most likely green boulevard on the Costa Blanca . The Terrace has room for 32 people . Also outside is soft lighting and music provided. Leonardo summary of what you have to offer - . Informal and friendly service , a fantastic 3 course menu with a focus on the price / quality ratio - . Very central and quiet location in Albir surrounded by green park of the Bulevard de los Musicos wich is comfortable and relaxing decor. - Large Terrace with smooth lighting and background music .
We had the basic menu del dia which was excellent. Good food. Lovely atmosphere. Never rushed. Looking forward to going back on Saturday, for the VIP menu.

Chef Fienus Kramers never knows beforehand what will be on next day's menu. That is something he decides early in the morning, when he goes out to look for the freshest ingredients. A creative process that results in surprising dishes, every day again. Fienus gladly tells you what's on in person, right at your table. Something not quite to your liking? Fienus will customize any dish to your taste, on the spot. Our wine list offers fine quality wines to complement your dinner (not inclusive). But why not go for our wine pairing option, providing the ideal glass of wine with each course. Adventurous and delicious at the same time.
This is Albirs by far the best restaurant. Welcoming service on our two visits on Sunday lunch. The food is of the highest class and with well-composed flavors and beautifully presented on the plates. The four-course lunch on Sundays inclouding wine and coffee is very affordable. We can really recommend this restaurant, we will be back next time as we come to Albir.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our first night of our most recent trip. We had tried to dine there before but on previous visits they had been closed. I am so glad we persevered.
We were seated in the courtyard, at the side of the restaurant and a very attentive Alvaro looked after us very well. We chose calamari for a starter and followed that with a mixed grill. The calamari was good but the star of the show was the meat plate, a carnivores dream! All of the meats were succulent, extremely tasty and beautifully cooked.
Sadly, we had no room for dessert, all the more reason to visit again to try other offerings from their menu.
Thanks Teresa for the chance to practice my Spanish, even if our conversation about Zumba, complete with actions, had my husband very puzzled!

Sea view restaurant, outside Terrace, international and typical spanish food.Pub and chill out ambient. Open Kitchen the 12.30 hrs - 22.30 hrs.<br>Closed until next season
Had a late tapas dinner here yesterday with the 'missus.
I started out with a G/T and they were very generous with the G part. Thumbs up!
Garlic prawns, argentinian beef empanadas, serrano ham and cured manchego cheese were all excellent.
The meatballs in tomato sauce could be alot spicier, and the consistancy of the sauce reminded more of ketchup.
Service was EXCELLENT!! 6/5
Will definitely come back and try more of the dishes.

Cracking meal, on a quiet road but a real surprise, nice people and a wonderful selection of food. Four courses, half bottle of wine, great value, prawns, asparagus, ham, melon, vol au vents and soup, just to start. Our friends made the choice for their final meal before flying home, what a great restaurant to pick.

Went here on the reviews seen on Tripadvisor, looking forward to a nice relaxing, quality family meal. I was really disappointed. The best part of the meal was the garlic bread and that was probably because I was hungry.
My wife ordered margherita as it looked really appealing and I ordered veal, medium,my boys both had burgers.
The burgers looked good and the boys ate them but there was no salad or garnish which was disappointing but they ate most of it but it was a little dry without a garnish.
My wife's pizza was a frozen base, not fresh... really?! I can put a frozen pizza into an oven.
My veal was undercooked, more rare than medium and it was like a beef joint not an escalot as expected.
It also took absolutely ages to get served and get our food, which was surprising as there were only about 6 tables, approx half, that were occupied and fewer ordering food.
I wouldn't rush back.

First class innovative menu, food is beautifully presented, some lovely twists of flavour. If this restaurant was closer to the seafront it would be fully booked it's so good - go find it! Ask to see the set menu - the prawn cocktail is really worth trying, so is the salmon, but our standout meal was the fillet of pork medallions in a pepper sauce, the most tender and succulent pork ever. We saw the steaks being served, and will have to go back to try these. Even the potatoes and imaginative vegetables need a shout out - and then there's the value for money, our 3 course set menu was only E16 including wine and a complimentary shot.

Masterchef UK contestant 2014 brings a new concept to Albir. Serving classic food with a modern twist!
After having had their Sunday roasts recommended we decided to book. We were certainly not disappointed, friendly welcome, good choices, not just roast meats, but we did opt for a roast... good decision, great portions really well presented with plenty of vegetables separately served. Certainly a few rungs above your average pub grub Sunday offerings. Seemed to be lots of regulars there, we will certainly return soon.
Just a footnote: they do not accept cards, cash only, but plenty of machines nearby.
