From unhurried classical dining in our atmospheric wood panelled restaurant to leisurely lunches in the garden, from traditional Afternoon Teas to our very reasonable Table d’Hote menu – we hope to delight and enchant with our food regardless of the occasion. We are incredibly fortunate to have a one acre walled kitchen garden, which during the summer months provides 95% of all fruit and vegetables we use in the kitchen, assuring you of the very freshest ingredients. "We have an exceptionally talented team in the kitchen who are very keen to keep ingredients as fresh and local as possible. Dishes will change as often as is practical and will offer something new to try regardless of how often our guests dine with us. I look forward to inviting you into our restaurant at an exciting time to try, what I firmly believe to be, some of the most honest and delicious food in food in the area." Executive Chef – Rupert Gleadow
Our first trip to this fabulous restaurant which I cannot praise too highly. The service is second to none and the food just perfect. It was a truly wonderful experience.

I’ve visited Prezzos on numerous occasions with friends and family and always find it good value for money, with special deals always on offer, any day of the week is always busy so always need to book, good food choices. Staff are always friendly and never have to wait long to be served and the food is always excellent

The Old Mill is a fantastic pub with open log fires, outdoor dining areas and a working water wheel. The pub serves a great selection of the well renowned and award winning Harveys cask ales as well as an extensive wine list. We offer traditional hearty British food using the best ingredients from local suppliers which you can enjoy in a relaxed informal atmosphere.
This is our nearest restaurant and we visited many times in the past. However the tenancy change a while back was a disppointment. However the changes that Lisa has brought about have restored the standards. Excellent meal last night (the old chef back?) and The Old Mill is back on our places to visit. Great curry and quiz night on Monday nights as well.

It was a busy evening, we were seated in a small room apart from the main dining area. We ordered main courses and accompaniments and waited for nearly an hour, the restaurant was giving priority to its take away service. On a positive note the food when it arrive was good, hot, spicy and tasty.
The service apart from the delay was friendly.
In all good but be prepared for a wait on busy evenings.

The authentic Spanish dining experience in Sussex!
Enjoyed a very pleasant tapas on a Wednesday evening. Tapas restaurant was busy even on a Wednesday evening. Great welcome from the staff, especially Pili. Good service, well cooked and presented tapas. Very nice bottle of Albarino to complement the fish dishes, especially the Galician style octopus. Highly recommend.

Unwelcoming exterior masks a very welcome surprise inside. These days everyone says that they source local ingredients, but this place really does. And, WOW, can you taste the difference. Simple eggs and bacon on sourdough toast tasted memorably devine. Tea in a proper sized mug. And other delights like Bubble and Squeak on the menu that I will return for on another day. What a find!

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat, we were seated straight away.
I ordered 2 poached eggs on toast and my partner a cheese and Pickle Sandwich, for drinks a tea & coffee.
Food arrived in okay time, my food arrived and I saw them then making my partners Sandwich which meant by the time he got his food I was nearly finished mine.
Our bill came to over £10 which was fine but a little pricey for a basic Sandwich and eggs on toast.
