In Åre you'll find this old hunting lodge reminiscent of the end of the nineteenth century, but which is now home to the Villa Totebo restaurant. The open fire in the dining room spreads warmth and the bar lights up in the winter gloom. The menu contains the best of modern European cooking, with inspiration from other parts of the world as well. The kitchen uses by choice ingredients from Jämtland and other regions in northern Sweden. There are also set menus and a party menu.

Have travelled & lived all over the world, eaten in many great places, yet here in the small town of Åre, is a total food gem! Incredible food - tasting starters, elk and reindeer- all excellent. Superb wines (made even better by the knowledge of the team on where they are from & what to expect). Great service & cheese to top it off. An altogether wonderful meal on Christmas Eve. So glad we went there. Try it for yourself!

After some light shopping today we went for a phenomenal dinner at Broken. The hickory glazed baby back ribs were melting like butter, and the churros desert was for the whole table to share! Delicious food, great staff, and cozy atmosphere. We are definitely coming back here

Whilst not the cheapest place I've ever dined at, this, as one of the oldest restaurants in the Åre Ski Area is a true gem. Assa is excellent in her kitchen queendom, and Tanzer and Mehmet are stars when it comes to customer service! They do everything from pizza to the traditional Swedish Christmas Smorgasbord.

Good service, nice food and options for my wife who is vegan. Kids could draw on the paper tablecloth which was fun.
Portion size was a bit on the small side, especially the vegetarian option with potato croquettes and mushroom.
Would have given 5 stars but I crunched on something hard in my cod dish. It looked and felt like a bit of glass but was assured that it was hard plastic. The waitresses took it very seriously, apologised and told the kitchen. We received Deserts for free. These things happen and the staff dealt with the situation very professionally.

Supper is a south-american restaurant located in three different cities around Sweden. The original one up north in Åre, two restaurants in the capital Stockholm, one located in Visby, Gotland. We make south-american food on our way. We gather inspiration along our trips, from the people we meet and things in general we find attractive. It all ends up in something we would like to call The Family of Supper. A dinner at Supper should contain something for all the senses. Our flavors are made to be shared and discovered together over the table. An evening with a various of smaller dishes enjoyed together in company, is something special! 2 persons or 20, it doesn't matter! We would like to meet you anyway!

The whole restaurant was renovated in 2014. In the middle of the room their is a very nice bar, which is adapted for food as well as drinks. The restaurant is located just below Åre square and I would recommend you a visit here.

Stop here for hot soup, chicken, salads, hot chocolate or beer. Busy and popular! Hearty service. It is really nice to stop here for a break in the middle of the ski system. The view is beautiful. A haven on the hillside!

Buustamon Fjällgård is Åreskutan's highest hotel. In the middle of the slopes, in a genuine and charming environment you can relax, stay and eat fa taskig food with high level and great service. The kitchen is inspired by the Jämtland raw materials and is often referred to as one of Åre's best restaurants. Go here if you visit Åre and for exempel want to eat your ski-lunch. Great place!

I've been here several times this winter (2015/16) and my summary is as follows: - Very good service - Excellent selection of small dishes (eat 2-3 pcs) - Extensive and very, very good wine list with a lot to order on the glass.

Grappa was a great experience. Realizing that we were both interested and a bit confused, our young but well-trained waiter, Tom, literally pulled up a chair and consulted with us until we were satisfied we had order a great meal. The food was excellent including hand-picked shrimp pizza for a shared starter and ox cheek and veal for mains. The recommended wines and samples of grappa (the spirit) were also excellent.
