We came here after visiting a small fishing village. What a beautiful view of the coast line. I'm not into adventure sports but there were people rock climbing, hiking, having picnics. A good way to see Sweden without all of the bikes and people. And, there are restrooms but no toilet paper!

Another great museum in Visby is the Gotland's museum which focuses on the history of the island and starts with Vikings through the medieval times and Christianity and the development of the island. The is also a treasure room with collections through time and and the parts of the medieval town. There is also a huge room for children which has a lot of activities. Presently there is an exhibition on domestic violence which is horrific but very good and well worth contemplating over and about. Finally they have a very good restaurant and coffee shop with excellent prices and selections. Overall a good museum which will keep you entertained for half a day.

Even tho when we visited the garden was heavily raining, the place offers nothing but Magic! If you are interested in green views and/or the weather is not the best one, please do visit the Botanical Garden :)

The church is architecturally stunning. Unfortunately it is owned by the liberal Swedish national Lutheran church, so the Reformation message is long gone. If you like liberal pap theologically speaking, then this church is for you. If you want to hear good biblical exegesis, then you should go elsewhere.

In the middle of thriving Visby this breathtaking ruin. My adult daughter and I were very taken with the architecture and written explanation of the place. It was wonderful to be allowed to walk in and look around and photograph it. The young children in the place were fascinated by the place.

Visited with youngsters just after opening. Information was ok, the film before entering the cave was interessting regarding the discovery of the cave and the three youngsters. Should have been some more practical information before entering the cave. Our guide was motivated, prepared and observant. She had good overview of the group all time. One mather - which ruined our "tour", was that a new group followed us thight in the cave, and their guides information/stories disturbed the sound of our guide, we heard some of her and a lot noise from the following group - a rather poor experience

Great day out, if you're visiting Gotland you don't want to miss this. Bring a camera and a picnic and enjoy the views and the landscape. Ferry over is free which is a wow for me!

We had no expectations before visiting this old limestone quarry but when we arrived it was breathtakingly stunning. We had planned to stay about an hour before moving on but ended up staying all day. There is a small fee to park you car 30kr. Take your own food and drinks as there are no vendors there. The water is crystal clear and although it's quite cold in the water, you'll soon get use to it and thoroughly enjoy this incredible place. We will definitely return here and I highly recommend anyone visiting Visby in the summer to go to the Bla Lagunen.
