Following Tripadvisor we‘ve chosen this place in Szentendre for lunch. First impression is that there are real professionals at work. 6 people were running the place and understood each other without many words. I like that. Langos is essentially quick fried dough. It is flattened and usually presented as a pizza shaped flatbread, generously rubbed with fresh garlic, with salt and pepper to taste. More modern versions add other toppings, mostly shredded cheese, but in essence, it can carry any topping. This is poor man's food, but delicious and it hits the spot.

It is not the first time we eat there and of course will nit be the last. We really enjoyed the food the service and the view. In winter they have an indoor cozy terrasse. The goulas soup was tasty and the salad. We do recomend this place in Szentendre.

A relaxed Italian close to the river, offering a nice view on the Danube. We went on a warm summer evening, had some starters, pastas and wine. The food was tasty, the pastas were the right condition and the sauces were well done. The pizzas looked delicious too. Service was very friendly, fast, and casual.

Our restaurant and guest house were opened in 2003. They are situated in the capital region only 18 km from Budapest, in Dunakeszi. They are directly on the walkway by the Danube riverside. We receive our dear guests in a Mediterranean athmosphere and a garden with a river view in the summer and by our warm fireplace in the winter.Besides the restaurant we also offer accommodation in our pension. On our menu you can find international food specialities and also traditional Hungarian dishes. Beyond a gastronomical experience – which is guaranteed by our chef Csaba Balogh, our high standard interior decoration contributes to your pleasant pastime. Our restaurant is the best choice for family gatherings, business dinners, friends' reunion or a romantic date in any seasons. You can choose from our excellent food and drink selection and enjoy yourself with quiet lounge background music.
The restaurant was nearly empty. But the staff arrogantly don't let us to choose a table. Shame:( The view is nice.

The restaurant is located on the top of the Somlyó hill, the impressive Panorama charms everyone! Besides the view, you can enjoy the local cuisine. Our chef, Ádám Sarlós is one of the most authentic chefs in Hungarian cuisine. On the menu there are typical Hungarian tastes, such as chicken paprika, crispy roasted goose leg, pike-perch from the Lake Balaton or marinaded neck of Mangalica pork.Besides all, the restaurant is a historical place: this is where the fröccs (wine-soda water spritzer) was born on 5th October, 1842. You can order several types of spritzer by us!On the other hand the famous Somlói galuska which is one of the most famous creations of Hungarian confectionery was named after the Somlyó hill where the restaurant is located. Here you can also taste the original Somlyói galuska which is a special sponge cake, served with chocolate sauce and decorated with whipped cream. The restaurant is only 20 minutes drive from Budapest, the capital of Hungary and only 10 minutes drive from Formula 1, Hungaroring!Opening hours:Tuesday - Sunday: 12.00 pm – 11.00 pm (Monday off)If you would like to travel back in time, do not hesitate to book a table! We are looking forward to seeing you at Fay Press House!
Wonderful setting for a late lunch on a slow Sunday afternoon. The place was full at 3pm, with mostly large groups and families. It is superbly family friendly.
Perhaps we had bad luck with our order, but our food was not outstanding. The soup was too salty. The main course was a 2-person fish dish. It was mostly done by deep frying, like many of the other dishes we saw as they were served to the other tables. Deep frying is not my favorite method of cooking. On the other hand, the green salad was excellent, fresh and crisp.
I mentioned that this was a late lunch on a slow afternoon. Although we were in no hurry and we were prepared to stay there for a while, the service was so slow, that it was getting annoying. Between placing our order to getting the main course we waited 1 hour.

The restaurant offers Goulash cooking lesson for group. It's fun to do something different yet learning something useful. The food is okay but the restaurant interior is a museum itself with many displays and ornaments all over the walls and ceiling.

We live in Szentendre and we really like to go to this place for big meals, the food is delicious, they always serve the same thing but it is really tasty, I recommend to order a big plate with little portions of everything (combination of meat, cheese and veggies)! they used to have a very nice cheese cake (New York style) but I am not sure if they offer it anymore. It is a restaurant worth to visit!

I have been to the "Dunakeszi" joint of the Burger House "chain" twice, both times I had a burger, french fries and a drink. First time I made a mistake and did not check they use raw cucumber in their burgers which I dislike in burgers, they just don't fit into burgers. (for me)
On my second visit I told the cashier I do not want the cucumbers, and voila : the burger tasted better. Honestly speaking their burgers are tasty, very good quality and decently priced. The french fries they serve are deep frozen, mid-quality to me. On my second visit I made the mistake to order a shake (milk) in choco flavor. The drink I received was more like a simple cocoa drink (room temp even) than a milk shake. Since I was in a somewhat rush I did not tell the cashier this was rubbish for a milk shake, but later on one of the boss admitted on their Facebook page they made a mistake and offered me a free drink when I visit them next time. (good attitude) ...my other concern was the ventilation. While I was eating the customer area was full of smoke. They must get this fixed ! Other than these two flops I like them and their burgers are of good quality !
