Nice quality food and good prices. The pasta is fantastic! Gets very busy so either book or get there earlier.

We stayed 5nights in Diano Marina and had dinner here on 3 evenings.
Staff is very attentive and friendly.
Pizza tastes so good and comes with a lot of topping. They offer three different doughs on every pizza. Try the calzone and the beer on the extra sheet they added to the menu.
Booking a table in advance is highly recommendable as restaurant gets full every evening.

Ignore the plastic tables and chairs outside in the street, this is an exceptional restaurant, with it appears having a very good local reputation. then place is very popular, even on a Monday night. This means that the waiting staff always seem to be underpressure - in fact I had to be very firm indeed for them to take payment from us.
That said the meal was excellent as was the wine, and the staff friendly (if overworked).

We arrived here following a Slow Food guide advice. Place has a nice patio in a quiet, not spectacular neighborhood.
You sit down, order your drinks and courses start coming: five appetizers, two pasta and a main plus dessert, water and wine for 30€. Everything is good or very good, lots of homegrown veggies. A big meal too! Only thing, you don't get to choose anything so if you Are a vegetarian or allergic this may not be the place.
Otherwise, great!

This restaurant has a sort of Medieval them, which doesn't quite work. The staff are in cotton shifts with a St George cross on, and the food might have been great for big meat-eaters but left us with little choice. Not cheap, either!

This restaurant is in a nice location on terrass overlooking the sea. The menu seems interesting, with its attempt to fusion italian and japanese cuisine (mainly the deep-fry side).
The execution and even conception of all the dishes we ate, however, was rather disappointing.
The waiter recommended the daily special starter of figs filled with ham and cheese. This at best was worthy of an amateur cook or housewife making party food for a big reception.
The "trofie" pasta with squids and zucchini flowers sounded interesting too, however there were at all a total of two small pieces of squid in this huge pasta dish, the zucchini flowers only tasted of the grease they were fried in, a basically tasteless, bland and greasy dish.
Finally, the tuna in a "pignoli" pine nut crust sounded interesting on the menu too... it also was bland and greasy, the pine nuts added no other taste than the grease they were fried in.
So I'm sorry to say, there still isn't an interesting fine dining option in Diano Marina...

Real Italian food and atmosphere. Have you ever been to La Perle in Benalmádena Pueblo? This is the Italian pandant to this Restaurent. Very good food at reasonable prices. Great variety on the menu: Fish, Chicken, Steaks, Pizza etc.

Very good, but quite pricey. Good service. Got a 20% discount on food because we were staying in Il Borgo della Rovere

Ok, the place is quite basic and the rates are quite expensive considering the location and the overall atmosphere. BUT: if you like the true Italian pizza, similar to the one you can have in Napoli, then you won't be disappointed. The service was super quick and the pizzas really delicious.

The Macaroni restaurant had been recommended to us by our hotel in Diano Marina. We went there for a light lunch early in the afternoon. Fortunately we only ordered pasta dishes: the portions were huge and delicious! Even though it was just before closing time, we have been welcomed warmly and shown to a nice corner table. The white wine arrived and was good. However, when the plates with the pasta arrived, we were amazed by their size. The pasta was cooked to perfection and clearly prepared freshly. Nobody rushed us through our meal, even though we obviously were the last guests. The waitress was very efficient and friendly and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, even though due to it's size we had to skip dinner. A really good place to go to!
