Densely populated and humming with activity at all hours, Dhaka is a city of contrasts between old and new, rich and poor, industry and folk. From the concrete National Parliament House and ultramodern Bashundhara City, the largest shopping mall in South Asia, to the 17th Century Lalbagh Fort and the open markets along the city's side streets, these contrasts vividly shape the city. Visit the many mosques, temples and museums for a taste of Bengali culture and history.

Kostori prepare and supply all traditional Bangladeshi cuisines with some Indian dishes. We have tried their Kachchi & Chicken Biriyani, Bhuna Khichuri, Tehari in several occasions and the dishes were good and tasty. This time, we ordered chicken biriyani and some other items for take home service through Foodpanda. Their biriyani was delicious and price of their foods are very reasonable.

This time, we ordered take home Delivery service of their Triple Treat Box, meal for 4 through Foodpanda, which is one of their promotion ongoing now. Star is the pioneer food chain in Dhaka. Their speciality is kebab, biriyani. Their breakfast items are very popular. I love the brain bhuna, Kolija (cow lever) bhuna, nehari and the milk tea. You have to go early in the morning, otherwise these special items will sold out.

Nando's is a South African International Chain Restaurant brought to Bangladesh by MGH Group. The franchise was brought to Bangladesh in 2007, when the first Nando's was launched in Dhanmondi 27 and it still remains a piece of art and décor. Nando's is spreading rapidly around the world and currently has over 1000 restaurants in 24 countries. There are currently four Nando's Flame Grilled PERi-PERi Chickens Restaurants in Bangladesh. These are located in Dhanmondi, Gulshan 1, Gulshan 2 & Banani. Everyday Nando’s restaurants in Dhaka serve around 1000 guests their legendary flame grilled PERi-PERi chicken.
Nice experience. Great ambience with spot on service. Food was really delicious. But can get full house real quick during lunch time or in the evening.

The food has improved in this place. Just wish they did something about decor and hand washing areas.
Good points:
- Food is amazing. The chicken kebab and khatta khat are amazing with the roomali rooti. I like my food with a kick and this place delivers well.
- The faluda is great (but only downfall is that its served in a glass)
- Eating indoors is better option
Bad points:
- Washing area looks dirty
- Poor decor and hasnt changed for 15 years
- The beggars outside are a bit of a hassle. Only restaurant where it was an issue

A fine-dining Japanese restaurant in calm, spacious surroundings - a little in contrast to the rest of our boisterous city!
A beautiful place in the middle of Dhaka city.
You definitely forget that you are in a noisy town as the restaurant is nicely decorated.
Outside garden is beautiful as well.
Food quality is perfect ! Nothing to complain about !!
The only negative issue is the price. It’s a bit expensive.
I know we are in a Muslim country but as an international place, we could definitely have the opportunity to drink alcohol.
Just bring your bottles !
Perfect place for a night with friends or diner with customers.

For a foreigner living in a Western country, the buffet price is really good value for menu. Surprisingly the Bangladeshi food items slightly edges the other cuisines.
Good points:
- Quality of food is really good
- Start off with the traditional Bangladeshi main course items
- Sushi is top notch
- The soup broth is refreshing
- The beef steaks will be cooked precisely as requested
- Waiters are friendly
- The Bangladeshi desserts are quite nice.
Bad Points:
- The ambience and decor could have been more grand
- The Bangladeshi starters arent very tasty
- No warm beverages
- Some of the oriental starters lacked salt
- No seasonal sweets like "pitha"

Hazir Birani dates back to the Mughal era of Bangladesh (1202 to 1757). It is located in Kazi Alauddin Road, Nazira Bazaar, Old Dhaka. This famous biryani house serves the best mouth watering biryani in the whole country. The price is good and the food tastes great. This place is a must try if you visit Dhaka.
But customers should beware of the many fake “Hazir Birani” that have cropped up across Dhaka trading on the good name of the original Hazir Birani. Their food is of dubious quality.

Roman style pizzeria Delivery serving many neighbourhoods in Dhaka. Restaurant now re-opened in Dhanmondi (Ahmed&Kazi Tower, Road 2, House 35 next to Rifles Square - see google maps for details)
So i like bella italia a lot but this place is also awesome. They used to have a place where one can sit and enjoy but now its all about Delivery. But still its worthy and I love it

I visited this place couple of times. Unfortunately the food and service is not as before. There was a magical touch in bunka's food once which i didn't find this time. Almost every food that was served had nothing mention worthy. Wasted my money for no good reason.
