Anzac Street B+Bistro was built 1752, it is tucked away on Anzac Street a beautiful side street where you will find lots of history and character of an old seaside town. Anzac Street B+Bistro offers very comfortable accommodation and beautiful food with a Mediterranean & Polish twist. We also specialize in vegetarian and we can also provide Vegan food. Any dietary needs that people may have we can cater for. We are located in the center of Dartmouth in Devon by the beautiful river Dart. Just a short walk away there is the harbour and secluded little coves looking out to sea.
Previous reviews lured us to this cosy family run bistro offering a small but perfectly formed menu with daily specials and several vegetarian options. We began sharing garlic mushrooms on toast then continued with golden haloumi and roasted vegetables for Chris and mussels in wine and cream sauce for me. The food was excellent and the service welcoming and we enjoyed our evening here.

Alf's is an exciting fusion of delicious fresh food & drink, vibrant atmosphere, live music & ensuite accommodation in the heart of Dartmouth, Devon. Open 7am-2pm, 7 days a week, all year.We provide a relaxed stress-free environment in which to enjoy tasty, local, freshly cooked food, whilst chatting with family & friends, listening to live music at the weekends. Above Alf's we have a self-contained flat and two B&B rooms, so you can stay too.
We as a family of (2 adults & 2children) stumbled across Cafe Alf Resco after arriving in Dartmouth for a day out on Wednesday 21st. We had a lovely warm welcome and our two boys 4 years & 19 months old were made to feel extremely welcome too. Breakfast was large and delicious, which was just what we needed on a cold morning. We will definitely be back for another fabulous breakfast on our next visit to Dartmouth.

Two meals on consecutive nights whilst on a cheeky midweek mini break. What can I say, both nights place was packed out, great atmosphere, service excellent and
the food very good quality and very generous portions. Recommend the steaks and burgers with superb super hot fries. Would highly recommended booking to avoid disappointment.

Awesome looking restaurant-popped in the wine bar at the back for a cheeky cocktail first and tried their own gin (very nice ) even purchased a bottle. Seafood as expected was exceptional and the service very fitting to the quality of the restaurant. Wine selection is very good so no problem in finding something to go with dinner. Would go back at the drop of a hat.

Relaxed, quaility dining in Dartmouth's oldest established restaurant run hands on by the proprietors. Excellent river and harbour views with delicious dishes prepared by our classically trained Chef/ Proprietor. Professional service and style.
Visited for lunch on my wife’s birthday. It’s on the first floor with superb views overlooking the Quay and river Dart.
The restaurant is small, intimate, very well furnished and decorated in a contemporary style making it welcoming.
We didn’t have a booking but the staff were very friendly and helpful making us feel very comfortable.
We chose from the set lunch menu. The food was very well presented and cooked to perfection.
We both had the confit of duck it was delicious with a nice crispy skin.
I would class this restaurant as fine dining with reasonable pricing.
This is my second visit and will not be my last.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for lunch with a bit of class.
Tastefully trimmed for Christmas.

Family owned restaurant, relaxed atmosphere, serving the best local produce available. We are not a fine dinning restaurant but serving great food is our passion
We wanted a great dining experience to finish our 5 day touring trip to Devon...and couldn't have asked for better. Attention to detail...lovely presentations...and great food and atmosphere. On the pricey side...but worth it for that special occasion.

Wandering the grounds of Greenway we spotted a ferry crossing the river and decided to go and see what was on the other side. Found the Anchorstone after wandering ashore. Obviously popular, all their tables were taken but the friendly staff suggested one would soon be free if we were happy to wait.
We all chose the excellent mussel dish and our food - like all the meals coming out around us - was beautifully presented and quite delicious.
The day was overcast and showery. Otherwise it would have been nice to try the outside Terrace and enjoy the view.
A great spot - great food and great service. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve been trying to experience Rockfish in Exmouth, for months, but have given up! So when the chance came to do this in Dartmouth, instead, we naturally jumped at the chance.
The Cod & chips are simply divine! & we loved them. The curried mushy peas & the battered onion rings are different, but very generous in portion size.
But we asked for ketchup & only received it once I went to the bar to ask where it was. No one checked if we were happy with our food & once drinks & chips had long since run out, I was forced back to the bar to request these!
All the while, 3 waiters & the manager, chatted idly at the bar... we won’t be rushing back.

Seaside tea rooms serving breakfasts, a range of delicious lunches and handmade cakes and goodies! Enjoy whilst gazing out to sea from our inside or outside Seating!
The staff were pleasant but slow producing simple snacks.
"Because of vandalism", visitors were told, "there will be no ice cream this year." Was it punishment or was the budget unable to pay for a replacement fridge?
The tea room would be cramped in wet weather - it was on a hiot day when people wanted to sit outside.

We make an effort to avoid the high street branded coffee shops. With a spanking new Costa next door we returned to Saveurs (after a medoicre lunch a couple of years ago). We found a table, cleared it ourselves, ordered & paid for 2 coffees, toast selection and a croissant.
Nothing after 15 minutes, coffees were being made for people wandering in & out, a lot of chattin and wandering about not a lot else. My missus enquired to be curtly told it was being done and will be ready when ready. Arrived another 15 mins later with luke warm toast and the coffee was very weak. Well - unfortunately I will stick to Costa next door where I can get a good coffee & receive the same poor service in half the time and at half the price?!?!
