The restaurant area had been booked for many months for friends coming over from Australia. They so wanted to have the complete 'Michelin Experience', that they had booked another Michelin starred restaurant in Agen for lunch a week later. As soon as we arrived we were asked if we would like to eat outside on the Terrace (where I believe the much cheaper lunchtime set menu was being served), but my friend wanted the whole ambiance of the vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows etc., so we were seated by the door leading out to the Terrace, with smoke wafting in from other diners. I have to say that I wasn't turned on by much of the menu offered, but ordered the fois gras, the pidgeon and the chocolate dessert. We were served an amuse bouche of tuna with fromage frais and cucumber, our bread rolls were rock hard torpedoes, and no butter was offered. Upon ordering our choice of local Pellehaut rose wine, the waiter went away and then came back to say that they had run out, and could we choose something else?! We had to ask for more bread (those who had dental plans) and if any of the staff had been even slightly attentive we would have ordered more wine and mineral water during the meal. My starter was good, but the pidgeon was overcooked and the dessert just did not work for me. Our four friends felt the same with their meals. The restaurant was operating with very few staff, but if one is paying €50 per head (coffee extra) one should expect decent service, and not complacency. To sum up, don't waste your money - go and have 'menu de marche' or à la carte at le Mariottat. Immeasurably superior complete experience - wonderful food, superb staff and a delightful warm setting, inside or out.

Ate here whilst enjoying a n early afternoon visit to this historic city and we made an excellent choice. The outside tables offer parasol protected seats to avoid the heat of the sun in this ancient cobbled area. A good choice of mains meant everyone was able to choose something they liked and the highlight was my steak tartare washed down with a decently priced Pelforth Ale. Good service and decent prices just added to the enjoyment. Highly recommended.

There is something wonderful about a restaurant that has a buzz of happy conversation without it being too loud, it feels comfortable and enhances the whole experience.
L'Origan has just this feel. Centered around the huge flaming oven the restaurant has busy lively feel and compliments that with excellent food.
The pizzas are big and tasty cooked well although the edges get a little burnt.
The menu is extensive offering pretty much every pizza you can imagine as well as pasta dishes and a few others too.
The staff are friendly and efficient without being over bearing
For four including drinks we spent €60 which I felt was good value.

We wandered into Condom to sort out a venue for tomorrows Fathers day lunch (to follow tomorrow!) & came across this place.
Excellent fixed price menu (29 Euro - 3 courses). The service was exceptional and house wine a delight. We sat outside & couldn't have wished for a better experience.

Our restaurant is located in a house of the 18th century; it has been built by French “compagnons” on moat of the 13th century. The diner room itself is also of the 18th century, with antique fireplace and sculptures. Our cook tries to honor this historical setting, sourcing from local producers (“LOCAVORE“ Label), with products from organic agriculture. So we offer you a menu based on fresh food, with only homemade courses.Welcome among us, in this site, situated next to a World heritage monument.
Creperie Saint-Pierre is an excellent example of a typical French creperie. We ate here at lunch and despite being a little late to sit down (gone 2pm) we were welcomed like long lost friends. We sat on the balcony overlooking the Cathedral square and enjoyed galettes and crepes that reminded me strongly of Brittany.
My wife's Gersoise was superb and my Savoyarde equally delicious. The Deserts were top notch too. The pannacotta was home made and came with a fantastic peach marmalade. My "tout Caramel" crepe was also to die for, freshly whipped cream, salted caramel ice cream and a caramel sauce.
Will definitely return here!
PS: they are dog-friendly too, we had no problem getting a table with our pooch in tow.

A traditional cooking(kitchen), of the country(soil) and the market
Down a quiet sidestreet behind the Cathedral, this small restaurant is a nice spot for some upscale dining. The daily menu is a bit pricier than some other places, but offers excellent regional cuisine, all well-prepared. The only minor disappointment was the rack of lamb, which was tasty, but the meat itself was not to the standard we're accustomed to in Canada. The wine list is extensive with some great selections and the service was informed and polished.

Very talented chef. Service was great. Best view of the castle. Kids were playing in the garden. The salades were delicious. The crustade pomme were great.

When a cozy Italian meeting a must Condomois bar, what happens? It gives a warm place Condomois find themselves, visitors and pilgrims to enjoy tasty cuisine. At the foot of the Cathedral, the family wishes Bolzacchini since 1971 Café des Sports, a landmark address in the city where locals come for coffee in the morning or a drink in a friendly atmosphere. Lawrence, son of Fulvio Bolzacchini, opened Da Fulvio (the name is a nod to his father) that communicates with the coffee. Result: a hybrid place, both restaurant and wine bar, whiskeys and rums! One enters here without asking any questions. attentive service and mouth-watering dishes to dessert. The rich and varied menu offerstwenty burgers and creative dishes with local products. Try the duck tartare, it will surprise your taste buds. The pastas are not left out, with delicious homemade tagliatelle. Here no fuss, the spirit is very cool, Italian style!
While visiting Condom during a random car trip around the Gascon countryside, we decided on a whim to have a pizza for lunch. The place was busy. We arrived at the end of the typical French lunch time (14:00) but they just continued servicing newcomers.
Plenty of choice on the menu, meats, burgers, salads and pizza (3 sizes).
We went for a pizza with buffalo mozarella, both pizza's were ok, just a pity that mine had sliced boiled egg on it instead of fresh egg fried in the pizza oven, which would have give a much nicer taste.
Service was very slow though. It took ages for our drinks to arrive and for taking our order, while I just decided to ultimately walk up to the cash register inside to pay - plenty of people did that.

We recently had an excellent lunch at the Hotel Contenital in their chique dining room with efficient and friendly service. All 4 of us ordered off the daily menu which provided a great selection and super value. The ambiance was great and the food better yet. Please note that this is the only restaurant open in town on Monday in the off-season.....you can spend a long time looking.

We drove into Condom France looking for a restaurant after 8 pm and our car navigation system indicated that this was the closest one.
We were received with open arms and served excellent meals.
I had Roignons de Veau, a dish I no longer find in our neighborhood in Northern California. It was great!
