This is an old mansion that has been turned into an exquisite restaurant with great old time service. Expansive menu, but we all selected steak - which was tender and delicious. Even enjoyed strawberries jubilee! This is a restaurant where you take your time and enjoy the pleasure of your meal, the environment, and the service which is attentive without being intrusive. The ladies restroom is a must see - a boudoir style magnificent sitting area and in the bathroom wash basin area green drapes to beat Gone With The Wind! Don't forget to take in small change to tip the restroom attendant. Lovely dining experience. Cocktail, steak, a side, dessert was about $50 USD. After your meal, ask for a tour of the mansion.

Nice italian food, all pastas are great and the pizzas and Calzones are also very good and with fair prices, not expensive at all, the place is small and the location is several blocks away from other restaurants, but the food worths the visit, it is located in a main street in a safe area. The outside look of the restaurant is not so fancy and to some extent that helps to keep it not crowded. I go there with my family at least once a month.

If you are visiting Chihuahua you should definitely come eat meat at Los mesquites. This is a great restaurant that has excellent service, the waiters prepare a Molcajete sauce in front of you that tastes delicious. I ordered the prime rib and it was really good.

We had a late lunch at Mesón de Catedral. There were nine of us, three from Tijuana, three from Texas, two from Ensenada, and one from San Diego. We all have different food preferences and some of us are more adventurous than others when it comes to eating. This was the perfect place. Food was varied, from french fries to tongue tacos. Plates were well served and we were able to share anything anybody wanted to try.
Service was prompt, and the view of the Cathedral is great. This place was a great place from where to start our downtown walk.
Do not miss if you go to Chihuahua.

I had a down day and asked the driver to show me some of his favorite places in Chihuahua. As we were cruising back from the Pancho Villa Museum in search of a bottle of Sotol, he asked if I was hungry, because here was one of his favotie restaurants. WOW!
Enrizos is small almost like walking into someones home for a quick bite. The food, typical of Chihuahua, was fresh made from the tortillas to the rajas and carne seco. Three of us ate a great lunch for under 200 pesos -- no beer though. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I strongly recommend you stop in if you find yourslf in Chihuahua.

British style dining room. Great selection of US meat and very good wine to pair with. They have their own brand of house wine (La Calesa, a mixture of four vines among which shiraz) which is a must. Service, more tan correct, very friendly and helpful advice. Among popular local cuisine try Chilacas (melted cow milk cheese with cooked Anaheim sweet pepper) and Puchero de res (beef broth with meat and vegetables). Expensive but worth for what you pay.
