Well known since 1984, it is the good place to taste italian fish cuisine, traditional tuscan recipes and good meats. The wine cellar follows the commitment to excellence with Bolgheri and Tuscany wines, Champagnes and sparkling Wines, and a good selection of Italian and French productions. Menu can be gluten-free on request and there is a green menù for a veggie choice. The restaurant has two air-conditioned rooms elegant and with particular details denoting the love of the owners for art, music and photography. Small animals are admitted. Parking is on the road, free from 1,30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and after 8.00 p.m.
We noted this restaurant because of its mention in the Michelin Guide. We drove to Cecina, parked in a nearby street and walked in on a Sunday lunchtime hoping for a table without a booking. We were lucky - this restaurant should have been full,...MoreThank you for these wonderful worlds we are happy to read your appreciation for food and accommodation. We hope you'llcome again Arrivederci dalla Toscana! Been there twice for lunch. On a sunny day with sea breeze the Terrace is fantastic.
No menu so the explanation requires careful attention. Fish is REALLY fresh, well prepared and presented. A lot of well-off locals are a very good measure for the reputation of Andrea. Too bad it's more than an hour drive from home.

We enjoyed in this nice restaurant great fish, very originally prepared and presented.
From the bread to the end of the meal all was of high quality, fresh and well made.
I only regret the hosts have an obvious bias towards regulars and we, as tourists, didn't at all feel welcomed or treated the same way.
Pity, it would have been great otherwise.

Arrived here late on a Sunday evening and didn't hold out much hope for getting a table but I was wrong, even though it was late they accommodated us.
We shared an antipasto which was varied and tasty followed by a mixed grill and a tagliata, meat was cooked well and delicious. For dessert I finished off with the home made caramel cheesecake which was delicious. Service by the same waiter was attentive and excellent all night. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.

In our restaurant we cook only what our sea offers. We are the chefs and all dishes are freshly prepared.Fresh fish is expensive, so please check the prices and judge the overall quality as we bring the fish directly to your table. The menu that we propose includes all our specialties, but due to lack of availability of fresh fish, daily may be missing some varities. Our goal is to make you eat good and drink better, so enjoy your meal!
quite place directly on the beah owned by an ancient family, not noisy, was there for a dinner: had all main courses of fish, a good glass of wine, i enjoyed all; tasty, fresh fish and really interesting receipt...my congratulations for the service too!
Price is quite reasonable))

Unfortunately this so far was the worst dinner we experienced in the toscana. The location is very nice, nice sunset and Seating. the food is overpriced and not tasty. We followed the chefs recommendation (gnocci with some kind of shellfish) and also ordered grilled fresh fish. You can choose the fresh fish from a display cabinet which looks very tasty and clean but the fish did not really have any taste to it after being grilled. The grilled vegetables we ordered as a side were fine. The gnocci were not good at all, it was impossible to eat the shellfish and due to it being cooked, little bits of the shell were everywhere in the sauce, therefore we had to leave at least half of the food untouched. We drove quite far to reach the restaurant (19 km) because of the good rating in Tripadvisor, which we really cannot understand.

Restaurant Trattoria Il Cedrino is also a pizzeria with a wood stove in Cecina , in the province of Livorno . Our kitchen offers traditional dishes with full menus with fish and meat . Cedrino is the ideal destination for lovers of good taste and original flavors of our land . With us you will taste and buy craft beers ! We invite you to try our local specialties , prepared by our chef in traditional recipes of Tuscany . With close attention to the presentation of the dish , we offer various dishes prepared with local ingredients and genuine , even for celiacs .
We had mixed grill and mixed fried seafood and loved it all. Tried to go back another night but even though most of the tables were empty because we hadn't booked we were turned away... The locals obviously love this place and reserve the tables!! Would defo recommend based on our one experience :)

We come here for our Ice cream on a regular basis, plenty of choice of flavors and made in house. I particularly like the mousse flavors and the mint. Will be back again very soon to be served by the happy, smiling staff that work here.

The staff were very welcoming and were expecting us. The restaurant has a range of tables both inside and out. We were seated outside with a view of the sea which was wonderful. The food was delicious. I had the taglia di manzo and my husband had seafood with pasta. Both courses were first class and couldn't be faulted. We had a local red wine which commented the meal perfectly. I would highly recommend the sorbetto which was truly perfect! The chocolate fondant was also very very good!! A great restaurant and superb value for money!
