Il cibo a basso prezzo e un'illusione, non esiste. Il vero costo del cibo, alla fine, viene pagato da qualche parte. E se non lo paghiamo alla cassa, lo paga l'ambiente e la nostra salute.<br>Michael Pollan.
I love this place.
The location is great. Paolo is one of the kindest person I have ever meet.
The menu is not huge but it's great: the seafood is amazing, paolo's daddy fishes everyday the best for his son and for his clients.
You have Absolutely to go there.

Mediterraneo: small and cozy, located in one of the most characteristic streets of the historic center, an art-restaurant blue and gold as the sea, decorated with paintings and jars Cristina the owner and chef of the restaurant. WE DECIDED THE MENU THE SEA, is the slogan, to emphasize the high quality and territoriality of raw materials used for our piatti.La cellar, consists of Elba and Tuscan wines. The kitchen offers Mediterranean dishes personal or revisited, we do not use pre-cooked or vacuum, is almost all expressed in good taste and quality. Booking is recommended.
Very small place, 6 tables, it offers superb seafood in a very friendly atmosphera. Every ingredients is rigorously fresh and local. We loved the 'tagliata di pesce spada' and 'spaghetti alla corsara' but really no matter what you choose you cannot go wrong. The wine list is small and offers nice choices at very reasonable prices. Even the simple 'pasta pomodoro' for our kids was delicious. We will come back for sure!

Koala is Open all year round!
This restaurant, which lies on a beautiful hillside, serves delicious food and a great selection of wine. We tried their fritto misto, seafood risotto and pastas. Everything was cooked decently and also the staff was very nice. Definitely recommend it.

The cuisine of Tamata is based on the continuous proposal of new courses, on the research of new cooking methods and on the constant attention to the selection of the products used, high quality foods and environmentally sustainable. Where possible we have privileged local, organic and “Km 0” products. We only use meat from organic and Tuscan farms, who pay special attention not only to the welfare of animals, but also to the environmental conservation. Sometimes it was not possible to choose on the basis of these criteria. In these cases, we have selected the best products available, which express the distinctive character of their origin. The dishes of our cuisine it's not only an expression of the Italian culinary tradition, but represent a "journey" in gastronomy from around the world, from the Mediterranean area, to Northern Europe, to the Far East. Buon appetito! And good journey in our "route of taste". Fabio.
In the port of Azurro, this restaurant has a wonderful setting in a charming little village port. Some aspects of this dining experience were stunning e.g the amuse bouche, the beautiful setting, the service and intimate knowledge of the wines on the list etc and...MoreDear Guest, thank you very much for the nice review and for your compliments to the chef and the service. We hope to see you next summer! Best regards, Barbara and Fabio

Even if it's in the historical centre of the wonderful Capoliveri, they offer low quality sea food for a very expensive price, stay away from it!

We visited Casanova several times during our stay on Elba July /August 2014. And every time was a pleasure with delicious food and excellent service. We do not speake italien and they do not speake english language. No problem. The positive attitude and "finger language" solved all problems. All dishes are delicious and absolute top value for money. Please remember to book a table in advance - this place is very popular.

Andrea at "Il Mandorlo" suggested this little cozy restaurant to us, saying: if you want to eat well and, somehow, something different, you should go there; well, we went, twice, which is unusual for us, since this is the place to go.
Just a few selections, as it's supposed to be for a small local restaurant, but always fresh and always great.
Seafood is a must and we had it twice but we've spoken with people returning for the steak.
Great wine (they serve some of the best Italian wineries) and exceptional price with a friendly service.
A gem at walking distance, a gem you'll have to look for and, to be sure to eat, better call and reserve the table, in advance!

Good for family.
While browsing around the gorgeous town of Capoliveri, we hadno idea where to end up eating and we decided to try this cosy restaurant, despite being busy all the time the waiter and the staff tried their best to let us feel confortable and welcome, we've got a penne ai granchi and a mixed grilled as second dish, great wine and very competitive prices, all our meals tasted very fresh and good service, i'd suggest to everyone that want to try real italian food!

Beautiful location looking to the beach. Very nice atmosphere with warm friendly stuff. I tried my first Fresh tuna tartar - simple and fine. Good choice of local wines. Reasonably priced.
