My last 3 visits this year (2016) was disappointing. The service has slowed down, the food quality has somewhat compromised and service could be better. Maybe the service crew are new or maybe they are overwhelmed. Whatever the reason the customers should not notice. The wait for our food when we ordered take out took them almost 1 hour to serve us 2 packets of Beef Hor Fun. We were not even served water even after we kept approaching the staff 3 times and the cashier once. On another occasion I was billed with another table's food. Our bill was around P700 but the bill was almost P1500. After checking it was reduced to our original bill and the error was 2 tables were put into the same bill slot as the waiter was the same. Their standard of beef horfun had considerably much lesser beef as usual and the chicken was over fried (like fried twice-maybe someone else's order was rejected and re fried and given to us). As I was with a group of business associates I did not want to create a scene but just decided to let it be but put it in my review. Since April 2016 I did not patronize them in Malolos. Maybe I shall try other Hap Chans in manila.

Stateside Diner is an American-inspired restaurant that caters to all ages - Kids, Students, Families and Seniors. Our place is considered as one-of-a-kind restaurant in Malolos as it relaxingly gives our guests a different ambience. It is surrounded by photo frames of singers from 70's and 80's, vintage inspired pictures and displays, we have juke box and old disk player. You will be serenaded by old school songs while enjoying our delicious food. We are open everyday. 1:00pm - 10pm during weekdays and 11am - 10pm during weekends.
I came here with my son who was craving for burger. It didn't live by its name in both ambience and food but everything was a disappointent. I couldn't help saying it's a bastardised American restaurant. The nachos, quesadillas, and fries all had a tinge of sweetness. I probably had false expectations but I just couldn't bear eating salsa this sweet. I didn't try the burger so won't comment on that though I noticed the patty looked quite dry. The root beer float had ice, quite unacceptable as, to me, rootbeer float should be ice cold root beer and ice cream, usually vanilla.
The place is poorly maintained - grubby and reflects poor hygiene. I could smell the toilet's stink from our table, food crumbs on the seats, one roach on the wall and another on the floor. I wonder what it was like in the kitchen area. But really I don't think I can trust their kitchen by the looks of the dining area.
While the waitress was doing a good job, she was a one-woman staff when we came in. I had to call her from the kitchen to give my additional orders and had to wait a while for our cutlery to be brought to our table.
The effort to project an American atmosphere is worth mentioning. Posters/frames of singers, etc.

I've been to this place thrice already and each time is awesome. Food is excellent. I really love their Sinugba (grilled) fish like the Gindara sinugba. Recently when some I and some friends dined here we ordered 5 dishes. Each dish is served in good proportions. We had a very nice gastronomical experience for less.

No doubt, this is comfort quality food! I've tried their best seller and must try frozen Brazo de Mercedes and fudgy chocolate cake. The brazo is layered with perfection. The ingredients melt perfectly inside my mouth together like a symphony of cold flavors. Couldn't take home some since it would melt so quick according to their staff.
Aside from desserts they serve vegan food which my husband and I failed to try since we already had lunch. But I can say I would definitely come back to try their vegan meals and veggie carrot ice cream.
A plus is their fast wifi (presently using it as I write my review) and friendly staff. Will come back for this when I get the chance.

Dropped by here for breakfast with friends on to Clark. The place is part of the Petron gasoline station fast food area at the back. The place is small, it is one the the many fast food branch that serves good burger and burrito. I tried their Filipino breakfast smoke bangus with egg, The smoked bangus was crispy and egg was perfect, also had black coffee with it. My friends had Beef Tapa and Daing. Will definitely come back.

We drove for almost an hour from Valenzuela (Near Malinta Exit) just to satisfy our cravings with seafoods cuisine. We like the selection of seafoods and the menu that they offer but to be safe we choose simple menu's like grilled, fried and steamed. For meat we chose lechon kawali (deeply fried pork), we love it since its very crunchy. We did not like the Bulalo, since it is one of our favorite dish we often ordered it whenever we dined in a restaurant and sad to say it tasted like lots of MSG were put in the soup.
Lucky for us we went here around past five in the afternoon (so it's still early for dinner) there were very few tables with guests that's why the food service was not that long but before we leave the guests were pouring in. I think the more the guests the more the patience you have to endure waiting for your food to be served. The parking is also ok with us since very few vehicles was parked at that time. The place is like a big bahay kubo with an open ventilation, good point is that the place is cool enough even without a fan (though there are wall fans around), but since it is open there are flies roaming around, downside also we experienced splatters of rain because it suddenly rains while we are enjoying our food.
Overall, it worth the cost, experience and the travel, BELLY SATISFYING.
