Nice and friendly staff; looks like all the family works at the restaurant. Very good food, large selection, rather at the more expesive end, but very well worth it !

The pizzas here are great but the service is so bad, unless you shout for their attention they completely ignore you and never check if you need more drinks or anything. The greatest challenge is trying to get the bill as if they are doing you a favour. I will never go there again.

Visited the restaurant on 27.06.2016.
Decided to sit outside in the garden of the restaurant, as the weather turned to be very pleasant and friendly.
We were three of us.
I presume the service personnel are veterans and possibly spent several years as employees of the restaurant.
Went through a very diverse menu of mouth watering dishes.
Ordered three different menus,
namely prawns , lamb and ravioli.
Well prepared and well presented.
They have excellent house wines.
Highly recommend having a meal at the restaurant as long as you were sitting inside away from the noise of the aircrafts.
Unfortunately the best hours of having a meal happens to be the peak takeoff times at Zurich Airport.
If you are sitting outside you can forget about having a proper conversation.
But in case you are looking for a good meal it is a very good address.
The restaurant has sufficient parking, as a car is the best and most convenient mode of transport to reach the location.
Good bus services are also available from Zurich Airport.
Thank you for the excellent and wholesome meal.
I would not like to comment on the price you pay, for the meal . Though I did not find it exorbitant,
it seems standard to pay these prices in Switzerland.
Kind regards

and superb take-away service. A short walk from our house in Buelach. We ate in a lot of times and the food was very good for a local italian restaurant - dine al fresco in the summer. A place to sit and have a few nuts/beers whilst waiting for the table or takeaway - very accommodating staff - home from home as we were there at least 2/3 times a week. The only problem was the old swiss gentlemen not being sympathetic on my son being in the restaurant because he was being a bit vocal but hey ho we know that the "old" swiss fraternity are not always the most tolerant but this didn't detract from our time at this great restaurant too much.

I live in a neighboring town and have eaten here twice. Both times steak, served on a hot stone, with a variety of sauces and side dishes. Pretty good, and the prices are not outrageous as is the norm in Switzerland.
The building is very interesting, it is quite old and used to be the jail house in Bulach. Recommend.

This is very much a destination restaurant, off the beaten track in a dormitory town just north of Zurich, near the airport. Virtually on a commercial estate, out of the centre, easy to miss. Large spacious spotlessly clean restaurant, modern decor with Thai touches. Food is very good quality, not cheap; we had the mixed starter platter which is quite good and a special cold spicy beef salad which was excellent. Main courses were extremely tasty, not over-salted (as are many dishes in Switzerland) but we would have liked more Asian heat, it had all been rather toned down for the Swiss palate. Mr Meier, the charming owner, suggested next time we tell the waitress (his wife I think) for added heat. The service (all Thais) was impeccable as was the warm welcome. Muzak almost inaudible - thankfully. If only more Swiss restaurants could be like this one. We shall happily return - and next time we will ask for more chilli.

This is a bistro style restaurant in an old building located in the heart of Bulach. Restaurant is rustic and the ambiance very good. We arrived at ten past six and got a table immediately, even though we did not have a reservation. Within 5 minutes we had our drinks and our order was taken, but then we had to wait 45 minutes for our food.
My wife asked the waitress (very politely) if it was always this busy and if it is normal that it takes 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and the waitress replied, Yes, this is perfectly normal, especially if you have not reserved a table (do not see what that has to do with slow service) and added that this was not McDonald's. To be fair, she did apologize for the long wait when we paid the bill.
Food was average.

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff in center of Bulach. Focus seems to be on fish, and I probably had the best Egli fillets I have ever tasted in Switzerland - just supreme. Only downside is the price, seems a bit expensive to me for what it is, even for Swiss prices. Still, it is worth it if you want to treat yourself.
