After Reading positive reviews here, we had higher expectations. The restaurant is not bad, but also not anything special. The shrimps were tasty, but the salad was just average and home made lemonade so sour that it was difficult to finish it.

The restaurant is part of the Hotel VEBA, situated in the town of Broumov. First impressions are important and the pleasant staff, excellent service, and wonderful surroundings made this a very good restaurant to review.
A good menu with a range of starters, main courses and Deserts, it was hard to make a choice. As I was with a group, almost everybody had something different, and everybody was very pleased. So consider this review a thumbs up from a number of people.

Great place, friendly and attentive staff, delicious coffee and desserts. What I liked the most is that you don't get a menu. Instead, the waitress asks you about your favorites and gives you advice. My husband and I ordered 2 coffees, an apple pie and hot fruit with ice-cream. Everything was awesome! Visiting this place is a must, if you're in Nowa Ruda.

Not lucky to find a place to eat in Broumov, we drove 10 km to Meziměstí. The place is an old factory turned into an entertainment site. The restaurant is nice and clean, the food was very good. Our children enjoyed playing outside.

Nice place in a very good location (near the spa park). Freshly homemade pizza baked in a wooden-fired oven. The specialty of the house is pizza made of the whole wheat flour.

I visited the restaurant twice on Tuesday and on Sunday. The restaurant looks like a German pub. There are simple tables and chairs inside and benches in the court. There is also a playground for children.
There was a huge difference in availability of meal, beverage and alcohol between the two days. On Monday I had sour rice soup and pizza, mint and citron lemonade and large mug of the local "Red Baron" beer. The soup was extremely tasty and provided on a nice wooden desk and accompaned with a grilled sausage. The pizza was made after the order and baked in the stone oven - yummy. Lemonade and beer constituded the icing on the taste. But on Sunday there was no soup and the lemonade was only with citron, without mint. Moreover, the service this day was very slow. although there were a lot of guest, I waited for my pizza more or less 50 minutes which is significantly too long.
Generally, prices are reasonable and the service is caring but not imposing itself. The menu is relatively short and dedicated for beer drinkers.

Good traditional food with nice service. For me between average and very good. The portion could be smaller.

The Manor House is a beautifull 1908 villa very well renovated. From its unusually big window you get a nice view of old trees and the old Broumov houses on the horizon. The food was absolutely excellent, especially the dorada fish and the goulash. Fantastic desserts too. Not too many people. Decorations in good taste. Brilliantly decorated for Christmas.

Najlepsza kawiarnia w Kudowie. Bardzo dobra i wielorodzajowa kawa, super smaczne ciasta i desery, mila obsluga. Mysle ze w szczycie sezonu jest problem ze stolikiem. Polecam.
