Located in the friendly Brabant village of Boxmeer, RICHE is a hotel, café, restaurant and party and events venue in one. As an ambient three-star hotel – with a Van Gogh room! – RICHE is the perfect starting point for hiking or cycling tours through what is perhaps the oldest landscape in the Netherlands. As a grand café, with a front facade that can be opened up completely in nice weather, RICHE is the place where hotel guests and locals happily mix. And in the fully renovated restaurant, the chef surprises the guests with sustainable and alternating dishes. RICHE also has various congress and party venues, for groups from two to a maximum of 1,400 (!) people. It’s not surprising then that there is always something going on at RICHE.
Nice location in the city center. Restaurant has both a casual and more formal section. We enjoyed the food that included the local delicacy “Asperge”. It not only looked good but also tasted great. Food was accompanied by nice wines that were recommended by the owner.

Brasserie Zuss is a very relaxed, beautiful decorated little bistro, with a lovely Terrace. Their menu is great, with many choices of sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts. They have a big range of different types of coffee. What I like best of this bistro, is that everything is fresh. The two owners purchases their ingredients from the local shop owners, including the oranges for their orange juice. I was buying some vegetables at the local green grocer, and in came the waitress from the bistro with an empty jug, asking for a refill of fresh, juicy oranges. I can highly recommend this little restaurant, where the service is friendly and quick. Prices are reasonable!

This place is an old farmhouse and the decor was gorgeous! There were lots of candles lit and I could see how this could be a great date night location. Our group of three enjoyed dinner over about 2.5 hours and it was beyond relaxing and we closed the place down.
Oddly enough we all ordered chicken Italian style which came with veggies, fries, and potatoes. Post dinner we received a shot of Baileys with fresh cream. We enjoyed hot tea and a tray of assorted candies to choose from.
If you are in this area, try this place. You will not be disappointed!

A great place for lunch, dinner and drinks.
The Douairiere is a central place in Boxmeer where you can have drinks and food. I went here on a Friday night and a Sunday afternoon. The service wasn’t always that good, as it took very long before they saw we wanted something to order. We got some bites with our drinks, which were nice. A nice place to go with friends.

We went with a big group (including children) and everything was perfectly arranged, from the table to the dessert. Food and service are outstanding!! We will definitely come back if we are in the region again!

This restaurant is located in the centre of a small town, called Boxmeer, in the South-East of Holland. Free parking. The place looks like a former cloister. We had dinner in the cosy courtyard during a warm summer evening.
The restaurant has no fixed menu, they use daily fresh local products of the season. The choice of the kitchen was delicious, especially the starter of fresh codfish is worthwhile to remember!

I visited with my family last month. The staff are very friendly and helpful since we don't speak any Dutch. The food was lovely. The brownie, cream and water was a nice touch with the coffee. My children liked that the bill came in a little heart shaped box with little chocolate eggs.
I have to admit the concept of the cafe hadn't dawned on me until well into our visit, however it's a lovely idea.

My friend and I both ordered the French Onion soup and it was the highlight of our meal. We each ordered a Sandwich for our main and mine was spot on. I thought the combination of bacon and pineapple sounded a bit different, but it was great.
