Been already twice. Nice atmosphere and good food. The menu includes lots of Tibetan dishes including momos, tingmo steamed bread, Tibetan bread, farmer breakfast, instant coffees, teas and fresh juices etc.
the restaurant is vegetarian only, no smoking allowed and no alcohol on premises. There is a small shop inside selling incense and shawls etc.

Great accommodation, great service, great restaurant.
After the poor accommodation in Lumbini and Kushinagar, and the disaster called a hotel in Patna the Royal Residency in Bodh Gaya was a breath of fresh air.
Everything worked well, staff were great, meals great, a wonderful place to stay.

In November of last year-2017-I spent 3 days in Bodh Gaya and I had all my meals at this cafe/restaurant.I would like to compliment Christa-the Canadian lady -who runs this place along with her Indian husband. The food is excellent-whether one is there for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a quick bite and the staff friendly and helpful. In this regard I want to pay tribute to Santos,Baizu and Sunni Kumar.....The place is super clean and inviting and is definitely worth a return visit....Excellent food...inexpensive and appetising...definitely worth 10 out of 10....

Consistently good, they actually listen to what the customer wants and deliver it which i find rare in India (I often ask for specifics, porridge with no milk, no butter, less oil,etc - I can sometimes be a picky, read nightmare, customer).Fast service, cheap prices, extensive menu, can't go wrong here.
I like the shashuka.

I love Lotus. Subodh and the staff are adorable and very friendly. The food options cover all the bases - from Western breakfast items to really yummy Tibetan thukpa. I also heard real Italian pizza is coming soon. What brings me most to this restaurant though is the incredible atmosphere of the place. It's clean and well furnished and a great place to sit and read or have a meal with friends. Another great thing is the Mexican they serve. I'm amazed no other restaurants have picked up on this. They have a super good burrito and burrito bowl, as well as quesadillas and salsas. This place tops Be Happy Cafe for me. I plan to go back gain and again for as long as I'm visiting Bodh Gaya!

The Best cafe for Coffee in Bodh Gaya. You can enjoy delicious food and instagram it too. Did we mention we provide High Speed Wi-Fi for free of cost. From Spaghetti to Noodles. Everything is available.
Had our dinner and breakfast here during our stay. The price was reasonable, food quality was decent however had to wait a while for the food to be served. The owner was quite helpful and guided us on what we could do given the time constraints we had.

Wonderful! We stopped by twice for excellent food and coffee. There is a great menu.....we loved the tasty veggie burger and the borscht...but the highest stars go to the lemon sugar crepes. They were fantastic.
The New Rose Apple is on the second floor with comfortable Seating and an area to lounge and hang out. Wifi is available, too. The proprietoress was warm and welcoming. We highly recommend The New Rose Apple as a great place to relax, enjoy fabulous food and excellent coffee....a real gem in Bodh Gaya.
