This is our second time here .. the view is sensational as long as you have a window seat .. the food is reasonable .. (nice garlic bread) the service was friendly .. just seems a little “rundown” .. the old Sealife shop was great last visit .. we actually purchased some things .. it was now nearly non-existent .. the whole place is just screaming for a makeover as it has the best position in town .. all in all a little disappointed.

After going through some reviews, thought we’d give it a try.... great location, friendly staff.... ordered 2 wood fired pizzas (1 being the Nutty Chicken, again, based on reviews).
1 out of 2 correct pizzas came out, and the excuse was irrelevant, but gave us another prepared pizza whilst the correct pizza was being made.... was a veggo pizza and was still Delish!!! Hey, accidents happen and we weren’t in any rush to be anywhere, that’s what holidays are all about!!!
Great customer service for admitting to their mistake, gave an alternate, whilst actual pizza was being made and gave original order as takeaway at no extra charge .... Grazi!!! This is what customer service is all about!!!, even for a small town!!!

This ranks as one of the more expensive Chinese restaurants with many dishes above $30 each and far from great food. It needs a really good clean and tidy. Crap all over the place and even the potted plants out front are brown and dead. Clearly this establishment is a source of income for the owners and not their passion.

The food we ate here was tasty and the serving sizes were decent.
The price is a little higher than what you would expect, but doesn’t turn me off eating here again.
Given the limited options in Bicheno, this place is pretty good and worth a visit.
I’d recommend booking during peak times as it does get quite busy.
Staff are friendly and on the ball.

Tasmanian Coastal Seafoods, its located in one of the most pristine coasts of the East Coast of Tasmania. We provide locally caught seafood from the region. All of our supplies we provide are fresh daily. We supply our customers with Live Lobster, Live Oysters, Clams, King Prawns and Mussels and a variety of local Tasmanian fish species. We also grow Abalone.
Looked this place up on TripAdvisor and despite it looking quite basic initially, we enjoyed the most delicious flake and chips we've probably ever had!
Also enjoyed the rustic, very warm outside heater as we are looking out on the wild water, the pelicans and seabirds.
Good coffee too.
Great little spot on a chilly day!

Stopped by at the Pondering Frog based on recommendations on TA to have lunch. Had lunch here - I had a toastie and coffee, and my wife had the scones and tea. These were fine, but the service we got from the younger lad who...MoreThank you for your feedback. We apologize for the poor service and we will definitely follow up on our customer service training.

I usually only like fish grilled but we ordered a seafood pack for two and the fish was battered BUT the batter was so lovely and light and the fish was so fresh, lovely and moist. The pack had scallops, prawns, squid, calamari and chips. We got a Greek salad too and it was just great! Thoroughly recommended!

The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre is THE place to experience Tasmania's East Coast wines, and combies wine bar, tastings and sales with a cafe, tasty meals and snacks, original art and design and a post office.
Had a sensational coffee , responsibly priced and good customer service. Bugger you can’t have a take away coffee , which sucks. Unsure about food etc , might get back one day again .
