Béjaïa (Arabic: بِجَايَة, Bijayah; Berber languages: Bgayet, Bgayeth, ⴱⴳⴰⵢⴻⵜ), formerly Bougie and Bugia, is a Mediterranean port city on the Gulf of Béjaïa in Algeria; it is the capital of Béjaïa Province, Kabylia. Béjaïa is the largest principally Kabyle-speaking city in the Kabylie region of Algeria. The history of Béjaïa explains the diversity of the local population.

Servizio impeccabile.

Speciality traditional and fish

Supposedly the best in town, which says more about the competition than about this place. It's what you get for these upscale French restaurants: salads, bourek or omelette for starters; fish or meat with half baked fries as mains. The fish was drenched in garlic, but that was fine as I like garlic and my boyfriend's shrimp were equally garlicky.
The staff was friendly, though our waiter was kind of shy. When we asked for a taxi, a friend was called who drove us for free. Gotta love Algerians!
The view is nice, the Terrace is great. After Algiers where alcohol is strictly inside, it was such a pleasure to enjoy a cold beer overlooking the sea.
