I found this place on trip advisor and i was really surprise for the quality of the food. We took away 2 pitas with chickhen and beef kebab meat and we ate them sitting in the manger square, which is next to the restaurant. The staff is very kind and helpfull, we talked together while we were waiting our food. The prices are very good and the place is very characteristic. If you come to Bethlem you must go there!

A nice cafe on the busy Manger square, from the Terrace you can whatch the tourists visiting the nearby Church of the Nativity. The Cappuccino is excellent, the fresh granita juices (pomegranate) are delicious, the manager is friendly, the WiFi works perfectly and the restrooms are spotlessly clean. They serve also some light meals that we didn't try.

We've been in this part of the world for a few days now and we are constantly struggling with the unavailability of fresh food (it's either canned, frozen or processed). This restaurant serves fresh food. A huge treat here!
The meat here is absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Prices are very affordable. Alcohol served here.
Service is excellent and staff are very welcoming.

Palestinian Food In A World Famous Location, Across From Nativity Church. Bethlehem Peace Center Restaurant Palestinian&international Food In The Heart Of Bethlehem
This well located restaurant on Manger square had a good selection of international and local food. Unfortunately the latter was disappointing - rather than cooked in the yoghurt, the potentially spectacular dish of mansaaf was just a piece of fried chicken with a side of rice and yoghurt sauce in a bowl.

Our tour group went here for dinner. The dinner started with about 12 different plates of items, a dance show and then the meat, lamb-chicken-beef with french fries. Lots of food and a wonderful time.

Dar Al-Balad Guesthouse & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings located in the old city of Beit Sahour, one of the most famous districts in Bethlehem. Dar Al-Balad Guesthouse & Restaurant is 10 minutes' walk away from the Nativity. Most shops in the city are easy to be accessed from Dar Al-Balad Guesthouse & Restaurant. Dar Al-Balad is a Mediterranean authentic restaurant. It's also a relaxing place to enjoy hot or cold drinks with friends and family. It is the ideal place for socializing and gathering. Guests can sit inside or outside, where they can be served by professional and friendly staff. Fresh cocktails, juices, ice cream, wine, beer and variety of alcoholic drinks are all served. A tour desk is available to arrange tours all around the country. Transportation is also available. In addition, Dar Al-Balad offers special occasions planning.
I had lunch this week at Dar Al Balad. It's only a 12 minute walk from central Bethlehem, yet away from the crowds. Located in the area called Beit Sachur, it's in a restored historic building down a quiet street. Lunch started with a large variety of fresh salads. Main dish I chose was seafood pasta. Was absolutely delicious! With all of the local restaurants serving the busload of tourists hummous and falefel and shuarma, this was a very refreshing change. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, pleasant, large rooms and brand new. Definitely a place I would want to stay at.

Man with the moustache makes excellent lamb. We had a bit of everything from the salad list as a appertizer and lamb and chicken for the main course. Everything tasted good, but the lamb kebab was really good. When in Bethlehem, go there for a dinner. I would go again.

This is the best restaurant we have eaten in in Bethlehem: barbecue with veggies are absolutely delicious. This is where locals come. Ask a taxi to get you there. No menu card, but a complete menu (drinks, vegetables, 600 gr. of meat) cost us 220 shekels for 3 people and was plentiful.
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but you see the cook at work (clean kitchen) and it is quite nice inside.
We were there during Ramadan, so ew were the only guests. More generally, our entire stay in Bethlehem was relaxing, all the locals we spoke to were kind. A local person took us to this place.

Best coffee in town, library with books in English and Arabic, non smoking room with toys and books for children, roof top Terrace with amazing view. Singer Cafe is run by a Palestinian - Dutch couple. The name of the Cafe is inspired by the decoration of the Cafe with old Singer sewing machines. The Cafe is located in the old part of the town of Beit Sahour in an old building with the particular natural stones and a high vaulted ceiling. The interior of the Cafe consists of second hand and recycled furniture. If you are planning visit to the Westbank or if you are already in the country we can help you plan your stay in Palestine and advice you on possibilities for hosting, logistics, places to visit, things to do and people to meet. I am truly perplexed how my rating is the lowest rating that Singer has received on TA to date...
The food was average at best...the bread was extremely dry and not fresh. The lettuce that came with a side salad had very large pieces of lettuce...you had to cut the salad in order to eat it.
Our Waiter was Friendly however the service was below average...for example, I asked for additional plates 3 times and the plates never came...even after ringing the bell to pay no one appeared and someone who knew the staff had to go and find the Waiter to ring us up...we were given one napkin for everyone at the table...
The pictures on TA make the place appear cozier than it actually is and the music was far too loud.
