They recommended this restaurant to us. And so... it was good. the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. The service was good and the staff were courteous. We did not wait long. The vegetable menu was very much okay.
We thought the vegetable here are all from the garden of the locals. So it has a crispy fresh taste. To top it all..... It is not expensive.

Very ordinary......the food was below par being cold and wholly unmemorable!
Service in the Mountains is at best laid back and slow. Here was no exception.
It is a rather dull dining room but the views from the Terrace are really good if only over one part of the village.....not the terraces.
Closing time if I remember was 21.00 and close on time they did! I headed off for a beer elsewhere.

I stayed at the Stairway Lodge for just one night before my 3-days-hike in the rice terraces nearby.
My room was basic but clean, with private bath with warm (not: hot) water and I has a view on the rice terraces of Banaue.
Wifi only in the restaurant room.
The owner was nice.

Arrived in Banaue at 6:30pm, and decided to have dinner there. Was quite surprised that the place was quite full (I think many of the diners were staying there, mostly foreigners). They serve delicious tinolang manok and fried chicken.

Had lunch there with my wife before returning to Manila. This large dining room with nothing enticing whatsoever caters to groups offering buffet for all meal periods. We ordered the Chef salad which was hardly edible with slices of sweet ham. Service by staff that appeared demotivated and wearing uniforms with bow ties that looked like propellers! Really sad and better avoid if you can.

The menu had a variety of dishes, both Filipino and western. I had a fruit salad, a vegetable salad and some fries. The food was good. The salad was a welcome change from the vegetable void I was experiencing. It had thousand island dressing. The furniture is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. However, the best part of the restaurant is the view of Batad.

We dined at this restaurant on our second night in Banaue. Views are beautiful. We met the owner Susan who was delightful.
We enjoyed and shared dishes such as pasta, bangus, and mixed vegetables.
For desert we tried their special which was honey banana dish.
Much more enjoyable dining experience in comparison to the Banaue Hotel the night before.

The restaurant is near the municipal tourism office a 5-10 minutes walk. If you are coming from the tourism office its to your rigth if you are coming from Bontoc its to your left along the hi-way. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also offer rooms/lodging.
It was my first time in Banaue and I'm glad we stopped by here for some snacks and dinner. The place has a very relaxing ambiance and the food are good too. I ordered bolognaise from their menu and I was expecting for heavy meat on top but all I found was loads of shredded cheese. The first bite was disappointing but the second one was addicting. It was a satisfying dish even without the meat that I used to see in a late of bolognese. The nature view from the balcony of the restaurant added more relaxation for us. Just be very careful of your belongings if you choose to dine in their balcony. I put my back pack on he floor and got my tumbler rolled down on the roof of the neighbors house. To the owner of the house: I'm so sorry for the inconvenience it has caused you.

Banaue can't be described as a gastronomic mecca and, unfortunately, most of the places are closed between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Therefore, it was a great surprise to find this tiny restaurant and museum nestled between the local bus station and the town hall. On the ground floor there was an amazing display of local art (some of the items were on sale) and the restaurant was on the first floor.
We had lunch here twice, and both times we had a feast for just a few pesos. Highly recommended: the freshly squeezed calamansi juice and the chicken curry.

This place in Batad is very popular with backpackers and tourists alike. There is a good variety on the menu. I suggest you order your lunch in the morning and come back in the afternoon to eat it. Otherwise, expect to wait 50 - 90 minutes for your lunch.
