My husband and I went to the RSL for dinner on a weekend away. My husband had the chicken parmy and I had the prawn poke bowl. It was absolutely delicious!! I haven’t always associated RSL’s with great food but the Ballina RSL has completely changed my opinion.
We managed to get a table by the window so we were right by the river, and could watch the beautiful sunset.
It was very busy but we still didn’t have to wait long for our meal. Definitely worth a visit.

We had lunch here as the reviews were good and when we drove past the cafe in the morning it was packed with the breakfast crowd. The setting is really nice and staff were very good. Unfortunately we found the lunch a bit average but the coffee was good. My piri piri chicken burger did not have much flavour or bite. I would return to try the breakfast.

Fleurs is pleased to announce our new menu. There’s been a real burst of flavours coming from the kitchen at Fleurs. Our Head Chef and his team have been busy creating new dishes and adding new twists to some firm favourites. So why don’t you book a table and try the new menu! There’s so much to try!

Delightful Restaurant in the countryside. This is our second time and loved even more. The food is consistent and the service great friendly waiters. Always busy but you never feel neglected! Ambiance is great with fairy lights all over the ceiling.
I let the waiter choose my wine - and delicious!!! Cant wait to go back next time we are on holiday. Food so tasty!!

Modern Thai Restaurant serving the freshest of local produce by our talented chefs. Relaxed atmosphere with outdoor dining available during summer. Licenced selling beer and wine.
Red Rock offers good river views in its new location. The restaurant remains large and has some outdoor sitting which can be windy but is quieter.
The last two visits I’ve been pleasantly surprised because before that I’d found meals intolerably salty.
Fish cakes are tasty. Stir fries are fresh. I’m yet to try salads and curries.
The restaurant remains popular.

Thai by Night by Chalee is Ballina's favourite Thai restaurant serving Authentic Thai food featuring fresh organic herbs from Chalee's garden, fresh locally sourced produce and friendly service. Vegan and Gluten free options available on most dishes.
Chalee creates beautiful, fresh flavoured & delicious Thai dishes. As it's a coastal town, the seafood was plentiful & fresh. The meals were of a generous size & reasonably priced.
Our waitress, Shilo was friendly, attentive, knew the menu well & was helpful in suggesting various dishes.
We visited the restaurant twice during our short stay in Ballina, throughly enjoyed all of our meals & would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

We passed through Ballina yesterday on a road trip through NSW, we were headed to the fisherman's Co-Op for lunch when we passed this place and it was PACKED. The Co-Op was virtually empty so we turned around and headed back here instead! (always go where the locals go!) The fresh seafood looked amazing and very very fresh, there were live crabs and crayfish in tanks and everything was very reasonably priced. We ordered the "Seafood Basket for 2" (swapping prawns for fish cocktails) and while we waited there was a constant heavy stream of customers coming in and buying fresh and cooked seafood. The three ladies serving did a fantastic job at keeping up and were polite and friendly with a smile for every customer! The food we bought (and took to eat at a near-by park) was amazing. The fish was fresh, moist and perfectly cooked. The calamari was excellent too. The chips were a little hit and miss but the fish was so plentiful that we really didn't mind! We got a HUGE amount of food for $22, it really could have fed three people easily!
