One word, amazing. More than 20 mezes. Very friendly. Service is good. And price. You must go. We will go again and again

Small family owned business. Chief cook lady Emine strictly adheres to the highest standards of quality for cooking. All the items on the menu are made from fresh, hand picked ingredients from local bazaars. Menu consists of mostly mezes and there are some hot dishes as well. Been here for two nights straight (would have been 20 nights straight if I were to stay in Ayvalik) and everything I tried was very delicious. A full course meal with alcohol should cost between 20-40 euros on average. Reservation is a must during high season.
TL;DR: Try this restaurant, there is no chance you will be disappointed.

Since freshness of seafood and fish is extremely important, it is equally essential to frequent seafood restaurants which have a regular client base, as well as which are frequented (and recommended) by locals. I would therefore suggest everyone to take a short walk along Cunda seaside and observe which restaurants (most of which are located next to each other) are popular with locals and tourists.
In my humble opinion, two fish & seafood restaurants, namely Cunda Deniz and Bay Nihat, meet these important criteria in Cunda. Both restaurants serve more or less the same selection of fish, seafood and meze (appetisers) selection. Cunda Deniz Restaurant, as compared to Bay Nihat, is about 15-20 percent cheaper. On the other hand, you will probably find that Bay Nihat's appetisers are tastier.

Istasyon Restaurant is offering very good seafood dishes and other fresh&tasty mezzes to its customers in Akçay area. With its very good location on the seaside and reasonable price level, this house has become one of the best seafood eateries in its neighbourhood.Strongly recommended.

I have been there twice, once with a large group and then again with my spouse. We had fabulous local dishes and amazing soup. I recommend here to vegetarians as well since they have excellent options for vegetarians, simply because Aegean cuisine is vegetarian-friendly by nature. In both visits, the restaurant was packed yet they were fast in service. Highly recommended

I strongly recommend that restaurant to food lovers.Everything we tried ( meze assortiment, home made pasta, fish and desserts)was fresh, local and delicous. kids had pasta with tomato sauce although that was not in the menu, for a decent price(my daughter eats pasta with no sauce and and most of the time we pay the full price of a sophisticated pasta plate as they do not have child friendly food.)I particularly recommend the lemon lavander cheese cake.. a must to eat.
I also adored the decoration:so simple but elegant

Ayvalık is famous for its toast. Aşkın is a really small toast shop in the center. The "orjinal Ayvalık tostu" with goat (tulum) cheese is out of this world. Combined with Ayran it is the best you can get

The best seafood restaurant in Akcay bay. I would definetely recommed the fried calamarie and shrimps in butter sauce. Turkish mezes are over 100 different kinds and daily fresh fishes you may find any time of the day.
As Restaurant is located just on the sea side in Akçay and because of its location,it has a good potential for the certain customers.Food selection is large enough with different kind of mezzes and other sea food like octopus etc.Service staff is very kind and informative, they also serve very fast.We strongly recommended.
