In Abrahamhegy, restaurants are scarce. This place could be competitive though, should there ever be competition locally. There is a nice selection of toppings, the thin-crust pizza is nice. Home made lemonade also good value. Children's play corner in viney backyard, only one high chair though. Terribly long wait.

The Borbaratok (Wine-lovers’) Inn and Pension is situated on Romai (Roman) Street, on the slopes of Mount Badacsony, a couple of minutes away from the centre of Badacsonytomaj.
You can taste the Hungarian dishes and other specialties of our chefs on the garden Terrace of the restaurant, at tables under thatched roofs. With the excellent food, we offer noble wines selected with a special care.
Our family has produced grape and wine for generations, currently on 10 hectares. We cultivate excellent varieties of the Badacsony: Welschriesling, Muller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Muscat. If the weather is suitable, we also produce ice wine. It is only here that you can taste the Badacsonyi Urmos (Badacsony Vermouth), prepared according to the 200-year-old recipe of Roza Szegedy. We mature our wines in wooden casks using a reductive technology and, since 1999, we have been selling them also in bottles. We gladly show our cellar and bottling plant to our customers and consumers.
The Borbaratok Pension offers 6 double rooms to its guests. Extra beds can be added in the rooms, and each has a shower, a toilet and satellite TV. We serve your breakfast in our restaurant or garden and, on request, we can also provide half or full board.
The house is situated 150 m away from the beach of Lake Balaton and 300 m away from the church and village centre of Tomaj.

A welcome relief from the tourist traps so typical in the neighbourhood, Pajta Galeria offers good, reliable and healthy food, charming atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended, especially for its garden.

The iconic Hungarian restaurant high on Badacsony hill
Location is great. Nice view on the lake and vineyards.
staff is polite and very fast (sometimes too fast)
Food is good, but I they give a a 'big' fishsoup with only a few peace of fishmeat and the price is above the average.

Authentic Hungarian cuisine celebrating our localy grown vegetables, self raised pultry and the finest Hungarian Grey kettle and Mangalica pork farm. The highlight of our wine house is, that our family is producing the famous Szeremley wine and Palinka.
A nice restaurant with excellent views to lake balaton. You can taste wine from Szeremley winery and enjoy the view while sipping a good fish soup. Not all tables have a view if you want to be on the safe side reserve a table.
Some other restaurants further up the hill also serve food and/or wine but this one is a good option mainly if you are with kids as there is enough room for the kids to play, we have even received paint books and other toys for the little ones. Taste Huba's Keknyelu.

Being Irish, the wet cabbage and pork appealed to me..not even Granny made it this good! The staff were friendly and prompt. I am definitely going to return to this very small place.

Staff is very nice and kind. Perfect choice for Balaton-journey. Opposite site of the street there is a castle and an arboretum garden. (Szigligeti Alkotóház és Arborétum)

Our long-awaited visit to this winery was a huge disappointment. No member of the famous Istvándy family showed up during dinner time, and the employees looked right through us. Despite our order had been taken with a smartphone, my main course was forgotten. Bread was of very poor quality, half-dry tesco kind, and no butter, fat or oil was served with the cold meat plate. After 20 minutes and asking for it 3 times, we got olive oil in a tiny bowl, and were charged extra fee for "extra vegetable". When we complained, the waiter told us he "cannot see into our head" and rudely cursed at the guests who came that day. This is definitely not what I'd call "bottled elegance" and it's a shame for the otherwise fabolous surroundings.

We have used this restaurant for 10 years now and the service and food is generally excellent, sometimes in high season you have to wait a little longer but the quality of food is very good. For Lake Balaton the prices are very reasonable. We recently had a dinned party in a private room for 11 people and it was fantastic.
