My girlfriend and I were visiting last month and we randomly walked by this place. It looked interesting so we stopped in. The staff members were all very friendly and we were seated immediately. It is definitely a place where locals go (which is cool) but there were plenty of tourists as well.
We were drinking a few beers and the glasses they came in were very cool. So cool in fact that I asked if I could buy two of them. They normally don't so the waiter said he would ask the manager and be right back. Both he and the manager came and said that I could simply have them for free. I insisted on paying but they would not allow it. They packed them up nicely, we took two more shots of schnapps, and we were on our way.
I forget the manager's name but she said it was a common village name from that area. All in all, this is a friendly place that everyone should visit while in Obertraun. I just hope everyone doesn't start asking for free glasses! ;-)

This place has a Terrace beside the lake for the summer and is gear very much for outdoors though we did spot a few tables inside but it looked small inside.
It is closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
The menu is very much geared to local fish or meat.
We both had Char (grilled fillet and pan fried whole fish) and a salad to share.
The fish was lovely.

We ate at this restaurant twice & had wonderful food & excellent service both times. The soups, salads, & main entrees were all very delicious!! I had the Char on one occasion which was caught in Lake Grundlsee!! Easily accessible from Seeblick Hotel. Highly recommend!

We have had dinner here already many times. That is because the food is really good here. So is the service. Therefore we will keep coming back here. This time I had the grillteller (mixed grill) (Euro 15,90) and it was perfect. Absolutely a recommendation for this one.

Head chef, Stefan Haas, has made himself a name with his innovative interpretation of classic dishes. The new concept of the Seeblick Restaurant takes us back a step. Tradition not innovation is the motto! The menu card includes old favourites such as the original Viennese escalope – „Wiener Schnitzel“, braised beef – „Tafelspitz“ and „Schlutzkrapfen“ – pasta pockets filled with spinach and cheese. To round the meal off there is regionally sourced gingerbread parfait and a sweet soufflé „Salzburger Nockerln“. Freshly prepared quality produce, largely locally-sourced is an integral part if Stefan Haas‘ quality credo. As the name „Seeblick“ suggests, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Grundlsee and the impressive surrounding Mountains while dining. The Seeblick Restaurant is open daily.
Gorgeous Terrace view overlooking the entire lake. Attentive, professional and friendly service. However: while food was generally good, the chef still seems to be trying to find his style. Right now, the combination of local and Spanish elements is not convincing; also contains too much chichi that detracts from original recipes: best example the Salzburger Nockerl. To be noted: presence of large groups of Chinese tourists.

The setting on the river Traun makes this restaurant perfect for an outdoor dinning experience in the summer. The food is high quality and well portioned. My wife and I enjoyed this place so much we came back twice. I loved the mushroom risotto with Steak and the seafood pasta my wife had was very good. The Apple Strudel for desert was also very well made and tasty.

This used to be the "Kaisers'" patisserie and lives very much on past laurels. Visited some 20 years ago (early 1990's) and am disappointed with the drop in standards. Had been to "Zauner" in Bad Ischl the day before and was expecting similar standard. NOT SO. Lewandowsky will nolonger be a 'must' on my itinerary.

Wonderful setting on bank of lake opposite Hallstatt. Nice selection of drinks, local food and excellent home made juices and cakes.

From the moment we sat down we were treated to a pure gastronomic delight, from the six different butter accompaniments to the bread, the Amuse Bouche, the exquisite presentation of all dishes, to the chocolate and fruit at the end. This should definitely be a Michelin starred restaurant and I have eaten at a few of these, this being far better than some. I would particularly like to mention the waiter who was only young, was utterly charming, and shook our hand when we left. I can't praise this restaurant highly enough.

Loserhutte is located in an amazing small ski resort in Aultaussee. The restaurant perches on the edge of the mountain with amazing views. The food is good too with efficient Teutonic service!
