Argo is a traditional, family-run taverna with superior home cooking. With two visits, we worked our way through cod, whitebait, sardines and calamari. All perfectly cooked. The house potato salad was excellent as were the Greek meze starters. Good house wine. Excellent value. Excellent service from a conscientious family.The taverna has plenty of outside space and shade.
The restaurant is a short walk from the port frontage up a small side street. Well worth seeking out. It was the best food of our stay in Antiparos - against impressive competition.

we found it very hard to get decent food anywhere in Antiparos,in 5 nights we struggled and more often than not disappointed. here the service was excellent and the food above average,the views are good and the atmosphere inside was lovely. prices are high for what you receive but its one of the best places to eat on the island, i do think asking 30 euros deposit for a reservation is over the top though.

Situated in the main. Street, on the left hand side,half way up leaving the harbour, this little jem serves the best filter coffee anywhere on the island.itvalso has a comprehensive pata and cake menu. I tried the greek yoghurt and honey - to die for !

Nice place, right at the Main Street. Nice meny with different tastes. We ordered a summer salad with fresh figs and strawberries. It had no fresh figs and strawberries but was a good salad though (but they could have mentioned that). We also got a wrong dish (pasta instead of risotto). The pasta with shrimps had 4 small shrimps. Not bad but a bit messy service.

Always greeted with helpfulness no matter what your problem.
Good breakfast freshly cooked for you served with good coffee or tea while you wait and chat about all the things you need to know when on holidays.
Food all day whatever you want choose from menu or ask for something different never been a problem. If you kids do not like one item just say to them more of the items they like is not a problem.
At night great to sit over coffee or beer or wine with snacks if you want . Watch time go bye and chat to other travellers or the owners for as long as you want . Thanks for good time will always call when back on the this lovely Island.

We ate there quite early one May/early season evening and things just seemed strangely flat. The food was OK, the waiters were polite - but there was absolutely nothing special about either the meals or the service. We definitely don't want fuss, but a bit more of a welcome would have improved the evening. We wouldn't eat here again.

I've been going to Antiparos for over 5 years and the main reason is Time Marine! It's where i walk in the morning, before even having coffee, where I have my first beer instead of having that coffee, where I eat for lunch, have my evening cocktail, where I take my evening nap on a hammock, and most importantly, where I hang out with the Time Marine crew and fans!
More specifically:
The music is just appropriate..
The food is amazing, all dishes an equal pleasant surprise..
The drinks are cheap and the cocktails very pro..
The stuff is AWESOME..
The Vibe and the space make you feel like home (you wish your home was like that)
Time Marine is a way of (summer) life. Can't wait to get there!

this Taverna is run by a Mum and her two daughters - all so hard working. The food is gourgeous, simple but exceptionally tasty traditional greek. Lunch for us is a conbination of beautiful bread, tzatziki, saganaki, cheese pies, Perigiali salad, beetroot and Greek salad. The kids love it too. Great value and love seeing the family restaurant so popular and busy.
